finished the book in 2 weeks.
the ending wasn't as vague as i thought it would be.
i felt like i had walked out an alternate universe.
perhaps this being my first book read from Haruki Murakami i'm not used to the style.
it's very descriptive but a bit too lengthy at times.
maybe it has lost some of the emotions through the translation.
but overall i say the book was interesting enough.
my summary of the story would be:
A boy and a girl connected by the red string and lost and have to escape from their parallel universe which has two moons in the sky.

1Q84
went to the library today after finishing the first 3 books of tiger series
i really wanted to read 1Q84 when it was out but didn't want to buy it.
by chance i found it today so i was happy
the other 2 books are humor books which i would like to read but i think it's abit waste of money to purchase it.
my dad thought A.M.F.A.D was a kiddy book.
it's not! deception...
the book was quite funny, easily finished in about 10 mins or less.
the book of even more awesome compiles events or the "little things in life" that make one happy.
how not to take things fore granted and be HAPPY...
i think i really needed to read this to improve my mood and the way i think so hopefully after reading i will learn something
i wonder if 3 weeks is enough to complete 1Q84.
it's quite thick but i just assured myself it won't be as long as all the harry potter books combined.
:P
the only other japanese novel i read was The devotion of suspect x by Keigo Higashino
quite a number of japanese novels that are translated into English are in the crime genre.
i'm thinking of reading less of these books i want to explore other genres.
i want to find the choose your own adventure type of books...
it seems pretty fun to me!!~
i will try my best!!!
perhaps working in a bookstore has started to revive my interest in reading.
reading is good for the mind.
