serious catching up

here's a list of animes i've watched the past 2 months...

been a super long time since i've watched animes that's why i spam watched it...

:3

DANGAN RONPA
season 1

super liked this... different from the usual kinds of shows since it's based on a game...

after that i continued with the same kind of anime too.. but i can't watch it continuously..

so i watched Ano Hana...

some of the animes were mentioned by my friends before so sort of remembered and went to watch them...

Ano Hana
kind of clannad-ish kind of anime??

but clannad is more sad though...

the story was good and the characters likeable too...

simply put its a lot of love triangles or one-sided loves...

then, continuing on with the animes based on PSP games...

Persona4

everyone is so crazy here...

*spoiler here* Naoto is actually like Kyubei from gintama!

haha... and Rie Kugimiya is also a seiyuu in this show too!~

slowly can recognise their voices...

only if they are in gintama.. haha...

then the surprise~

Iwatobi Swim Club aka Free!

yes, only to get rid of the peppa pig thing...

ah, it haunted me for awhile..

doesn't make it easier since i see the books everyday at work...

kind of contemplating if i should watch Free at first, but since one of my colleagues was watching it and she said it was good so i decided to try...

my tumblr was spammed with alot of Free doujinshi and yaoi stuff...
that's another reason why i didn't wanna watch it...

alot of kinniku in this anime...

Kotonha no Niwa movie
the movie, The garden of words...

sweet movie~ the anime is really nice!!! the drawings are good!~

kami-sama no memo chou

not sure why i watched this, didn't find it particularly outstanding from other "problem solving/mystery animes" the last 2 episodes were the only stark contrast the middle episodes were kinda slow pace...

just watched this one for fun i guess and since it was so short

Accel World
heard from another colleague that people who watched Accel World won't like Sword Art Online and vice versa... so i decided to do a test!

honto desu!

but to certain extend... shows are shows in the end.

glad both Accel and SAO had happy endings~

supposedly there will be a season 2 for Accel World?

hmm....

Karneval~
because who can resist ikemen ne?

not me.

suppose to like Gareki since he's like a black haired Gintoki with Hijikata's attitude...

ah, but i think i like the sheep and rabbits more!~

they are so kawaii!!!

i need them to help me with my housekeeping!!~

SAO~
had a part-timer who liked the SAO series....

but i think the character i liked was Kayaba Akihito

because without him there would be no SAO...

hahaha....

and he saved Kirito too in the other game too...

sooo... his character turned out to be... good?

Tasogare Otome X Amnesia
like this anime quite abit then nearing the end it was muddled...
but at least the mystery was solved so yeah!~

ah, and after that i continued Magi  after very long haitus...

i did watch after it started airing but not after awhile now i had the time i decided to catchup!

Magi
yeah, this picture is from the 2nd season...

but i will surely continue it, after the whole series is completed!

it's a pretty good series...

but i doubt i will wanna start on kuroko...

it's just a really sports show which i don't know know why my brain doesn't not accept...

maybe i will force feed the first few episodes and see how...

now i'm watching K project though...

thinking of witching back to dramas but not sure what to watch...

this season's Noragami is not bad!! the show is really funny...

thoughts on humanity

when one is sick, the most important thing is to not lose your mind about it.

it's just the body that is weak but the mind is still strong.

i will get better and stronger after this.

i've been neglecting a few things ever since i started work.

and i realised the time spent while not schooling or working aka "holiday mood" was really a time that i wasted alot.

sure i did what i liked and enjoyed but i think about it again; is it for selfish ambitions?

someone once said to go for a concert is ok nothing wrong, but compare going to a concert which means your ticket fee goes to a charity fund compared to one that your fee goes to the artiste for transport and maintenance.. etc. which one would be better?

generally, one will just think of wanting to see the artiste regardless of whether the fee goes to whose hands. just wanting to see the artiste is the main point. but i guess sometimes as human you will tend to take pity on other less fortunate.

on the flip side, someone else once said why bother about charity funds. if those people are still able to work and support themselves why do they still seek the support from the public for donations? the most logic thing is that they should go to the government or management (if the case calls for either) and settle their problem. if the most higher ups don't move to help then what more can be said for the public?

i think this is just human nature, self before others because we all have the knowledge that each of us are special and should deserve what we expect from others.

but i want to try to not expect anything, that way when something happens the moment becomes even more special and memorable.

just an update on my life:

SID came to perform with flumpool on 23/5 and i didn't manage to go.

but through the pictures and videos of fellow SID fans from the web i felt like i went for it too.

and of course to kimeki who went (partly on my behalf as well? :D thanks so much!~)

and got pictures too!

and also... after working for almost 2 months my love for anime is slowly growing again!!

folks there love japanese things one way or another~

common interest makes birds of the same feather flock together!~

i will continue to be more positive and enthusiastic!

HWAITING!~~ GANBARE~!

最近

the pass couple of days were spent watching Natsume Yuujinchou.

caught up seasons 3 & 4 but didn't watch seasons 1 & 2 yet.

haha... shall find the other remaining seasons.

started watching MAR (Marchen Awakens Romance)..

got this feeling recently to watch older animes like Inuyasha...

MAR is quite old since its debut air date was in 2005...

Inuyasha is even earlier than that too!

MAR is a typical shounen story, Ginta goes into a magical world where he needs to defeat Chess (bad guys) and there is a girl who looks like his crush in the real world.

Similar to Inuyasha? Since Kagome resembles Kikyo a priestess whom Inuyasha loved.

and the fact that both shows have the characters going on a quest.

that was usually one of the common plots that stories have to make readers more attracted to it.

i think it was after watching Inuyasha that i watched some other anime with yokai inside. yokai = demons

Natsume is one anime with many yokai inside, some of them are cute and others creepy.

i wanted to watch Hyouga but i stopped because it wasn't easy to understand with the chi subs.

the animation is nice btw, i like the way the eyes are colored.

kira kira~

i don't know why but i have a slight dislike when anime i started to watch seem nice but suddenly turned to focus on another genre like they create love line or something.

the addition is sometimes quite irrelevant.

i think Gintama was the only manga that i read in book form and went on to watch the anime.

sometimes i end up on completing either one.

thoughts

Less is more - contentment
More is less - Humbleness

This is an ongoing argument about materialism; the pros and cons.

By human nature, it is common that we all want more even if we have it already.
Bigger, Better, Faster, Cooler, etc.

Then at times we tend to comment that others are show-offs when they have something we don't.
And jealousy arises then we usually get what we want.

Then, the setback is that after awhile new things arrive in the market and everyone else hankers over them.
Which becomes a huge cycle and its not very healthy.

Materialism that is.

So sometimes we tell ourselves, there are other alternatives.
Perhaps we wanted to go for a live but didn't have the time and money.
So the next best option is to go online to read random posts on the reviews.

It seems to help to some extent but after awhile we can't seem to help ourselves.
We want to get the it thing to try it out, because they say seeing is believing.

And that is not a lie. Seeing IS Believing that is why when you see others having it you want to have it too.
That's as far as the human mind goes.

Though Materialism is a reality.
There is this invisible but tangible standard of life we all must have.

Borderline is just an average C for most households if we were all graded by income.

You can't live life on earth without money.
Because barter only existed before money.

I would like to see how we would live in a barter trade world.
That would really be an eye-opener.

When someone rich gives away all his fortune, others will have mixed views about it.
Either they will think "So what if he gives away all? He can still continue to churn out the money unless he retires."
or they would be "Are you sure that he is so generous? Perhaps he has another motive."

I don't think many will think kindly of others generous actions.
People tend to be apprehensive and doubt why someone would do something for nothing.

Goodwill is very rare nowadays.

back!

did anyone miss me?

-No Answer-

oh, well..

My internship started on Wednesday this week and things have been good so far.

Thank god I was posted to a place near my home so even if I had to OT I will not feel so tired for the travelling part.

Thank god the colleagues and supervisor are nice people, since we are pretty new to the dept we can learn and encourage one another.

Thank god for the friends I have who also encourage everyone with their sms-es.
They are pure kind actions, important in times like this.

3 months may just pass in a blink of an eye, but its the journey taken to reach the destination that counts.

Ganbare!!

oh, and yesterday was a whizz!

Didn't imagine I could survive without my noon nap.
BUT I DID!!

^O^

woke up at 7am and left house to cycle to Punggol Promenade..
came back home at 10.20am..

ate breakfast...

after that I watched Arang and the Magistrate with my parents.
LEE JUN KI!! SHIN MIN AH!!
they are so cute in the show...

Arang and the Magistrate

i think Shin Min Ah is quite suited for comedy/horror dramas...
since she acted in Gumiho... i find such shows quite suit her.
and this is Jun Ki's first drama since he finished army!
miss his acting...

being a random person i shall add this song...

some quite sad Korean ballad song. but idk the song title.
singer is Na Yoon Kwon.

after we watched the first 2 eps of the show I had to go for cell.
left at 6pm to catch the train and luckily I made it to *SCAPE on time.

met up with kimeki inside the *SCAPE warehouse.

the live was awesome!

*shall blog about the live again in more detail

and if anyone who wants to get a poster or flumpool or weaver...
one easy way is to buy OCT issue of TEENAGE~ ^^

they have their posters~

didn't buy the goods because it was quite costly.

double cover so i got 2NE1 instead. SHINEE is on the other  cover

flumpool interview

rant

people change from time to time. sometimes they change and never return back to their old form, sometimes others change for awhile then back again to their old form.

i came across this news awhile ago, so just decided to mention.

the news is regarding this, R-Chord's wall
fb wall, that is.

well, what did i post yesterday about the song, Persona?
it's different now since the "bully" is a famous icon.

i must say, the article online may not have been from true sources so i can't say much.
maybe it was even true, his fb has been hacked.

if it has been hacked, to the person who thinks its fun to post things like that.
He/She doesn't know shame, plus they are sullying R-Chord and his reputation.
Please, we should all get a life outside; not behind the screen.

if it has been R-Chord himself who posted those things online.
i think my impression of him has been changed.
i even bought his cd previously.

though i never listened to it much.

and another case, Unhappiness over lost of Golden Melody award

we all get angry, disappointed, jealous when we work so hard for something and when we don't get the reward we think we should deserve. it's normal right?

and so in a fit of fury, young blood tends to use social media to blast out their frustrations.
but words said in anger are just like a dog's bark is worse than its bite.
its loud and sudden but goes away after awhile.
the only thing left is the ringing in the ears that may sit on some ears, more so for sensitive ears.

but for this case, i mean, the other party is much older and experienced in the music industry.
so to air his opinions on Liu Jia Chang (sunbae-nim) music, its abit ironic.
i mean, the older singers they produce songs for... the older community right?

so it will surely be out-dated in a sense to us, young guns.

i do applaud our sunbae for being magnanimous.
i learnt that from all the mandarin/korean shows with the peasants kow-towing to the king and saying how Magnanimous he is.

so we should also learn to be forgiving.

no idea why i'm doing this rant thing, guess i've got stuff on my mind...
and they are not about my tests

need to concentrate...

just a side note, there is a month more till A-Sketch Special gig!
can't wait for it~

need to do my best for LOMe test this friday!!
Hwaiting!

02 March 2012

quick update...

i wanted to do this another day but decided to just squish it in now.

my eyes are closing soon, but since i'm already here i might as well be done with it!

yeah, so i went on a class outing a few days ago.

went cycling!!!

woots! i feel so proud that i'm being active after so long of my no exercise life.

the sun was shining down really hot but thank goodness the wind was good.

at the end of the jetty
i seem to stalk planes when i'm there.

hahaha...

spot the plane yet?

crystal blue waters...
but they are not as clean as it looks

luckily my friend pointed out that i almost stepped on the poor fishes...
they were caught but not released back into the waters...
why the anglers so bad?

fishies!~

poor things...

i think i'm quite bo liao to take such pictures...

o.o but yeah.. anyway, i'm a pretty bo liao person myself.

RIP fishies~
T.T
oh, and since today blogger is able to upload the pictures nicely, here's just another food shot.
pasta~ oh mama mia~

basil chicken aglio
my friend ate the cream based tom yum spaghetti.
its so delicious!!

i wanna eat that the next time we go to pastamania again!!!!!

^-^

oh yes, and before i end just wanna rant some news that came out.

Did you know...  Warner Bros is in progress of developing ideas for shooting a Bleach movie?

i didn't watch Dragonball Z movie.
but i knew judging from the reviews it didn't fare that well.

Bleach on the cards..... its going to attract a HUGE audience.

since it was one of the first animes i started, though i didn't continue after the first 100 eps.
if they really plan on doing it, could i suggest adding Asians in it?

hahaha.. i think my point is clear. kinda...

oh wells, except for a few characters who are black and what else races there were.

well, if they wanna get a good response from the audience, they should go watch the Bleach musicals for reference.
those were just as good as a movie.

and talking about plays and musicals...

Ao no Exorcist is going to be having a live action play.

too bad for me, i didn't really watch that anime, i've been drifting away from anime and j-dramas lately.

oh shucks....

hopefully it will be a great success!~

now if they can already produce gintama play or something of a live-action sort.
i guess its too "adult" to be live action?
o.O

gintama fans have to rely on cosplays...

T.T

alright gonna sleep now.

gu-nite!
