saturday alone

once again, i had to settle my lunch.

i decided to risk and cook aglio olio.

i was thinking of eating at Ajisen but i changed my mind.

i watched a video on how to cook Aglio Olio on yt before commencing the cook-out.

i decided to follow the pastamania style where they added chilli padi inside.

chopped the garlic and 1 chilli padi

i added another chilli while frying the garlic.

i also added some scallops

nice~

lastly, my finished dish.

i realized i didn't have black pepper so i added a little white pepper powder.

and i took out the chilies before eating.

it's really spicy even though there's not much colour on the plate.

i think i did a decent job for the Aglio Olio.

maybe a 6/10 ?

on another note, yesterday i read the news about Yuya at the Famicon in USA.

he blew the audience away with his performance, according to the source Tokyohive.

i hope he releases another single soon.

Arashi and YUI have new singles coming up soon too!

Arashi's single is called Mada Minu Sekai E and YUI's single is YOU.

both sounds really nice and fresh.

hope to check out the PVs as soon as its released.

i just watched Hana Uta, the new single from Greeeen.

:) the PV is nice!

the guy inside with red hair quite cute.

haha.. but he doesn't have a very Japanese face, he looks like a Taiwanese though.

大奥 + Japanese actors + heights = randomness!

Nino was the main male lead and Shibasaki Kou was the female lead.

the last time i watched Shibasaki's acting was in Good Luck, where she acted opposite Takuya Kimura.

i gotta say that the show is quite good.
大奥.

there wasn't much climax in the film only the last 30 minutes.

i'm glad there was a happy ending for this show. :D

not sure what other show to look forward to this year.

i heard that Paradise Kiss is coming out soon.

YUI also released her single Hello ~ Paradise Kiss ~ last week.

i watched the pv and thought it was a change from the usual songs she did previously.

it's a little more girly and fun.

she looks a little like Rainie Yang here, coz of the fringe.
i still prefer her look before.

the main leads in Paradise Kiss are Mukai Osamu and Kitagawa Keiko.

Mukai Osamu acted in Hotaru no Hikari 2, which i saw...
Kitagawa Keiko in Buzzer Beat opposite Yamapi, which i watched 1/2 way...


i had no idea Mukai is 1 year older than Nino!!
he looks so young!

he has double eyelids.. just that it can't be seen so obvious.

but i think i got same problem as him..

that's why i hate taking pics sometimes.

he acted in quite a number of dramas before but i just didn't register him much.
:P i think his roles were a little minor that's why.
but after awhile i could remember his face.

at least he got recognition that's why he could land the male lead role in Paradise Kiss.

oh yeah, and another actor that should get more recognition is Kaname Jun!!
i thought he was like all those other calefares, but NO he isn't!

he has those typical Japanese looks, i think.
sometimes he has the F4 look and at other times he reminds me of Shinji.
he is the same age as Aki..

Nino - 1983 (ht: 168cm tall!)
Mukai - 1982 (ht: 182cm taller!!)
Kaname - 1981 (ht: 185cm tallest!!!)

their heights are compared to mine...
i think i shall revise my ideal guy's height.
i think 168 and above - ok!

^^ where some are lacking in stature, they make it up with raw talent.

ok, back to the topic...
compared to the 2 guys before, Kaname has acted in more dramas then them.
he acted he a few movies, but just as a supporting actor.

anyway, i think he has more of a drama look then the movie look. :)

so much to anticipate from them!
i do hope they will have more works in the rest of 2011~

on the last note,
there isn't much news of the boys on their official site still.
hoping they will continue with a cheerful spirit in this time...

hoping for news for a new release soon...

weekend music

i just watched Kana Nishino's latest single, Kimitte.
it's very touching.
i like the song.

YUI's Please Stay With Me is starting to grow on me slowly.
even did a small cover of it.
i find it rather hard to cover her songs because her tone is higher than mine.
i think she might be a sop 2, around there - in vocal terms.

i'm also kinda addicted to perfume's VOICE music video.
the director of their video is so cool.
yesterday i listened to a preview of their up-coming single, Nee.
it sounds nice.

i'm also waiting for the full video of ranbu no melody.
i watched the short ver. taken from BLEACH op theme.
it's been a very long time since i watched BLEACH.
but i really like the op now.
they feature most of my fave characters.

it sounds nice.
i thought it would have a more christmas-like sound.
nidome no kanojo gave me that kind of feeling. i love that kind of sound.
well anyway, at least they will be on the cover of a magazine!

it's enough for me.
hopefully someone will kindly scan the pictures and put it up on the lj.
i'm still waiting for the pictures from What's In.
i really detest rar format. esp when i'm a computer bai chi.
