here's the update on this afternoon's outing.

enjoyable time out with good food and nice company

had dessert at ice lab, mango bingsu

since i was in the area, decided to check out the library and borrowed a short story collection.

the first story, snowman snowman is really very thought provoking.

it is pretty good, but perhaps the price is a little steep.

went by iroha mart and bought individual tonkotsu flavoured ramen

was attracted to the word Raoh
since i'm watching Hokuto no Ken, and just watched a episode where Raoh appeared.

haha...

shall try to remember to give a verdict after trying out the ramen.

cosfest XV and update

i went to cosfest this year on a whim since i was free on Saturday.

the last time i went was in 2013 and after looking at it i realised i've changed a lot the past years.

didn't buy as much items as compared but still spent quite a bit.

i only spent about an hour and a half, after which i made my way to Bugis to the Pokemon cafe!

that was the highlight of the day actually

i bought mostly Jojo merchandise because i missed out on them during Doujima.

some of the artistes that were at Doujima was also at cosfest.

decided to get more smaller size prints from this year on.

these are A4 size. i hope i won't break this during AFA.

was actually going to buy some stickers from this other booth but when i went closer to the table and spotted this i changed my mind!

just too cute, but he's missing his beauty mark.

i like that they drew the mouth in a heart shape.
there was Daichi too but didn't get him

couldn't pass up the Jojo one so i got it together with the prints.
i actually didn't realise the Gravity Falls one was a sticker set.
but either way i like it too!

and that was all the things i got!

hopefully i won't go too crazy during AFA, unless i do watch another series that is really hyped and alot of people do merchandise.

the main part is the Pokemon Cafe lunch!

it was supposed to be eaten after the pikachu ears as it was made of wafer dipped in dark chocolate.

had udon for dinner.

i'm quite boring but i find eating Kitsune Udon makes me feel zen.
simple taste makes you content with just that.

the slightly burnt taste of the sweet beancurd skin is good too.

read the other 3 that i borrowed last week.

quite a good speed i'm reading my books.

i'm at Prototype now, can't wait to start on Facial Justice soon!

i managed to get a good number of books at the library today

Emperor of the Eight Islands (1), Horrorstor, The Selection(1)

the (1) represents that it's the first in a series.

decided to borrow The Selection on a whim.

i shall see how it goes.

so glad i managed to find Emperor of the Eight Islands by Lian Hearn

it's a 4 books series, it's historical fiction something i will usually avoid but still want to try.

what i'm reading at the moment at home

i imagine that's how Hazel Motes dresses, with the hat and the suit

the way the people dress in 'Doing it to Death' music video just looks really cool

not sure how i feel about the novel but i just like the way it's written.

it's really easy to read, the topic however is abit more touchy since it is about faith.


next month end is also going to be mad... i think it should probably be the start of next month which is less than a day

July 2016 is probably going to be named worldwide Harry Potter month

i will try to blog a little more next month because the masses have reduced less since the holiday period is over, but since it's going to be Harry Potter month next i think it will have no difference in my opinion honestly.

hope i won't be sounding so dismal in my next post...

currently waiting for more books coming out by next month end

and shall see i shall decide to do some kind of book haul? hmmm...

Book Hunt 04.07.2013

almost 3 months later, i managed to find the 4th book in the Tiger's Quest series!!

Whee~!

there's a fifth book called Tiger's Dream which will be the last book in the series..

but it will be out next year!~

hmm... will i forget about it then?


i wanted to borrow Maggot Moon before but i was afraid i couldn't finish..

still can't borrow any big titles like Infernal Devices and Mortal Instruments yet.

its difficult to find the first book.

maybe the next trilogy i want to read is Across the Universe...

i wanted to borrow the shining, =-=

shall take notes of the books i want to read next time.


just last weekend, i started to pay for internet bills and so we signed a new contract and got the starhub box to watch some cable tv.

but i think i will be the only one watching it, since every else is so busy.
