start of November

well, time has flown by and it's down to the last 2 months of the year.


so much has happened the past month and I am working towards change.

mini update again

😊currently, I am in the middle of the toilet upgrading at home and there's lots of things to adjust.


there's still about 1 week more to go till the end, till then I have to keep up.


recently I have had planned some outings with great food as usual.


mostly back here to do a photo update and small talk.

started the month with a bang, went to catch Sam Smith live at the Indoor Stadium

ready to head in and enjoy the night

there were quite a lot of merchandise that were selling out fast like the tote bag and lanyard.


had a decent dinner one of the days when I was working mid-shift

so delicious because I was so hungry


went out another day for dinner and had Vietnamese Pho!!!

there were also chicken wings that were good!


so many customers that came after  us meant it had pretty good reviews.


it's the stall called, Mrs Pho at the back of Haji Lane near Nicoll Highway mrt station

Thai chendol with red ruby

 I think it was not bad, more tapioca chewy stuff inside compared to our local chendol.
didn't think red ruby would be tasting that way too.


probably might come back to try the main dishes from here next time.

Currently the new season of JOJO has started, Part 5 Golden Wind.


I have not started it but I will do once the toilet upgrading is finished.


looking forward to next month's AFA.

the past weeks

I really need to be constant and dedicated.

went to catch the movie, Killing For Prosecution starring KimuTaku and Nino...


it was a good movie, but slightly too draggy at some points.


the cinematography had an artsy feel to it.

I wish they gave more of the fruit to dip..


as the saying goes, Desserts is Stressed spelled backwards.

been awhile since I was here to update.

The past weeks have been really busy at work and trying to keep up with my health.

August ended really quickly and the past weekends of Sep were full of events.

There was the IT Comex Fair at Suntec that happened on the 6 - 9 Sep and the same weekend saw a huge turnout at the STGCC 2018 at MBS


There was also the annual Natsu Matsuri event held at the National Stadium by the Japanese Association of Singapore.

quite a handful of pictures I took over the course of the weeks.

not sure the name of the cloud formation but it's still beautiful to admire before it shifts

tried both soup versions, pathumthami and ayutthaya

fried papaya strips or carrot strips? the spicy dip was really good!
I also tried the green milk tea and the sangkaya (steamed bread and kaya dip)

saw these cuties in the UFO machine while at Suntec

was craving for some sweets one night, decided to try this from Cheers ice cream section.
I also tried the Thai Milk Tea flavor! So delicious, would recommend!
very rarely chance upon locally produced F&B, good to try them out

went to try ramen from Konjiki Hototogisu situated at CHIJMES
the free sampling of asari clam mixed rice they served while waiting for the ramen

tried the spicy tonkatsu ramen
broth was really good! there was too much chilli though..

their business is still doing very well

went beverage shopping at the Thai Supermart while at Golden Mile Shopping Centre
I was so happy to see drinks from Oishi brand, all the product placement and sponsorship that gmmtv did for the dramas I watched made me want to buy! The green tea with genmai (barley) was really refreshing!
the coca cola with coffee is really interesting, the smell of the coffee was really strong and I could taste it in the first few sips of the drink. not too bad, would drink it again!
The instant red / green milk tea is not too bad, perhaps I should try the other brand next time.
wanted to look for the butterfly pea leaves but I think it was sold out already.

NLB will be having a new library at Vivocity, it will be taking up the space that Daiso was previously located at.

maybe I will check it out when it is completed.

September is coming to an end again, and soon the last 3 months will be full of busy days.

Army Stew from Mukshidonna at Downtown East

i didn't know that they had renovated Downtown East... it looks good, more food choices there now.

we had the cheese and chicken sausage since the beef bugolgi was out of stock.

luckily, we didn't order the kimchi rice, the army stew portion is really quite big

after that we had dessert from Krumbz N Kraves just outside Mukshidonna.
