yesterday i was watching Asian Kung-Fu Generation live video



and i think it is AWESOME

i prefer the bands that are more of the sound than the visual

like they just wear t-shirts and jeans and not so much flamboyant costumes

i don't mean to say i don't like SID when you know they have grown so popular and of course, if the concert actually has a theme then it's most appropriate to have costumes or certain dressing to match the theme...

and of course when bands get more big and expanding their fanbase; the marketing design team have to start churning out band merchandise

i get it, the whole business thing

but some how or rather it kind of affects the music...unless the band themselves don't really mind
change because it's just part of life

and i also just saw Tenchi Gaeshi by NICO touches the walls

i managed to catch an ep of gintama on monday..

and just yesterday i walked past someone watching gintama in school.

recently, i've been listening to The Boss, B1A4.. :)

i think it was right when The Boss named TVXQ as their idols.

their ballads are really good.

夏の記憶 and もう最後になると  are my faves!!

they came to SG recently for the Korean Music Wave 2011.

i don't know what songs they performed but i guess it would be their korean songs.

(edit: i checked xinmsn, they performed: 'Admiring Boy', 'New Boyz' and 'Stumble Stumble')

i would prefer it if they did their Jap songs..

i think they are like choshinsei because they are pretty popular in Japan.

but maybe choshinsei was a little down on luck when they first debut in Korea.


but anyways, look at them now!

they are getting more recognised with each growing day!



on to the Jap side, im like in love with androp songs now..

they just released their Mayday 3DNA movie trailer awhile ago.

it's going to be out on the 16/9/11

hope it does great at the box-office.

it's like going to the movies plus can get to watch their concert!!

the trailer showed part of their concert when Ashin sang wen rou (tenderness)

i miss that song so much!!

my internet connection has been mad for awhile so.. >.<

i don't know why the title for B1A4's single is only learned the bad things it doesn't match the song though. but it's nice sounding.

i like f(x) - Hot Summer dance. it really says of the weather here in SG now! :)

there's also breaking news that L from INFINITE will be acting in an upcoming jdorama called Jiu.
not that L, haha... always think of deathnote when I see "L" :D
i like the 2 female stars in the drama, Tabe Mikako and Kuroki Meisa.
it's going to be another police show so it's a plus for me! :)
me loves detective shows!


i just watched Close Ur Mouth mv, it's pretty cool.
the set is easy coz Hee Chul just walks around the corridor.
and just get a group of friends that act in the mv...
no wonder he can just flim it in 10mins.

watching Block B - Tell Them mv...
i kinda get a GD vibe from zico...
the rest of the members are cute too but not that hip-hop in a way.
the song goes a little pop in the chorus but turns back to rap in the verses.
overall, i enjoyed the song...

B1A4 and Block B teamed up to do some CFs and have a show together as well, if i'm not wrong.
the new groups have interesting names and unique group members.
for me, CNU (B1A4) and zico (Block B) stands out.
i think many others might have thought the same thing, CNU reminds me of BYJ?
lol.. not meaning as an insult, but his specs and hair style that's why. :)
but he looks better than BYJ duh!

sandeul looks like huang jing lun when he smiles.
i guess its the mi mi yan thing that i always see.

i also saw the teaser of T-ara 's new song, Roly Poly.
sounds like another catchy tune is coming up.

alright, so much time spent on Korea.

for Japan, it's SMAP softbank CM that was flimed in SG at the MBS.
the 3 versions were good.
but i couldn't tell it was SG until the "merlion" came out.
they changed the merlion to a dog? i don't really know, but it was funny.

some ppl weren't that happy about it i guess.
like they thought they were making fun of our national icon.
i guess every country type comedy has some extent.
