the awaited rest week is here~!

went to check out icds at SCAPE today and bought quite a number of things, mostly stickers

before we went there, we had lunch at goemon pasta

sesame oil mushrooms and bacon

alot of pasta

we went to Bugis is have dessert at Tai-Parfait

tried the Banana Chocolate which was nice!~

the custard cream was quite sweet so the chocolate filling in the taiyaki wasn't sweet

oh wells, it was a nice experience and new food tasting session!

then after that we decided to head to SCAPE.. which by that time was about 2+ pm

quite late, since the event started at 11am

my mini loot!

not much to hide right?

so the first thing i had to get was of course, Gintama related merchandise

seals/stickers i got
Gintama, Free! (Nagisa) and Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy

don't you think chibis are so cute?

the other 2 were bought at stalls on level 2 while Nagisa sticker was bought on level 5 in the airconditioned hall

the Groot is going to be for some people at work

though i must say, he's cute!

and then, right now Persona series is gaining more popularity...

managed to get 2 badges

and then i got 2 dmmd badges too... still think it's weird to use dmmd short form since it's just Dramatical Murder

Teddy just looks so silly

the characters i got are Clear, Aoba (and Ren) from dmmd  and Yu and teddy from Persona4

Free! (based on season's 2 ending)

didn't really think of getting any Free! related things...

but since this was labelled as "bookmark" at the stall, i just went ahead to get one

turns out that the more i see it, it's growing on me

i'm not one for buying doujinshis or prints, but since we had some time and walked a few rounds all the levels we looked at some of the prints that the stalls had...

there was one that sold Tokyo Ghoul prints on level 2

at first i didn't think of buying but, later on i decided to just go buy because it was just good enough instead of waiting for original art

i actually like Uta the moment i saw the anime, haha

and you know the 2 characters that people will most likely cosplay at AFA 2014 is Kaneki and Uta

i watched the original series which was more than a 100 episodes long

but i must say, it was a good series

Hisoka is just so cool

didn't think i would actually watch this but i wanted to know what happened after i saw the 1st ep

still think this anime was catered more to the guys instead of girls

PSYCHO- PASS

another very cool futuristic anime...

and who can pass for these main characters who are so ikemen

another kawaii kind of anime that seems deceivingly boring

but it's not

can't say it's like Nichijou silly or Clannad realistically relatable

but it's a great way to de-stress and be thankful for what you have because living in the countryside ain't easy... appreciate the simple things in life

started reading another manga yesterday...

its not new actually, its called Monster

which i still remember the anime series... being quite creepy~

because its a psychological thriller about a doctor who is being haunted by the killings did by his former patient.

perhaps the story is set in Germany, foreign country...

which adds to unfamiliarity of the language...

there is alot of killings in the anime and i didn't get it at time...

the author is Naoki Urasawa, the same as 20th century boys...

which is awesome.. makes me think thrillers are always best-sellers

recently i've been getting in the mood for "retro" things...

like watching j-drama, seija no koushin

that is sooo old...

ok, nothing much to add on... though its just about 2 months to AFA i don't feel that interested to go.

plus the fact that Sebby is a demon, makes it more cool!

i didn't wish they did OAOA because its not really my favourite song....

um... a very long time ago.
the first album i bought was then, their compilation album, just my pride.
i think it was a good thing i bought that because it showcased their hit songs and they were really good!

in the following years, i continued to buy their albums whenever they released any...
i think, the album we had to wait the longest was the 7th one, Poetry of the Day After/後青春期的詩

many of their old releases can still be found at HMV, but they are still quite expensive.

there is a free poster that came with the purchase of the album.

not supposed to be artistic but.. :D

just saying~ but i doubt they gonna invest in it...

can't wait for them to return here to do another leg of their concert!!!

Hope you all had a great time during the long weekend..

so, just wanted to re-re-re-cap what happened during the weeekend!

my bo-ring life oh! prettty sad anyways, so lets just get to it!

pre-christmas - 24/12

the morning to afternoon was quite.. ._. meh!
got pissed because of stuff at home, but then decided to heck and try to forget it.

in the night, i went to candlelight service at church with my mum.
i have never been to a candlelight service before so it was a new experience.

i expected it to be real candles...


but........

light stick?

yes, perhaps its due to the changing times so they decided to switch to safer option?

but guess what?
when i was breaking my light stick it leaked! LOL...

no proof of it but it was quite funny...

my mum still asked if it was toxic. ^w^

oh well, just pardon the oldies they don't know well about such things..

actually, i really like the outside deco at Toa Payoh...

the lights on the trees not the ugly signs on the grass..
the focus is abit wrong

again, the focus on the lights not floor..

morning and early afternoon was the same as the previous day. MEH~

i went to my aunt's place with my mum for X'mas gathering...

it was good.. i wished the toy cam would have saved the pictures properly...

luckily i took some when i was at the playground...


usually i have some 'me-time' when i'm at these family gathering things...

went to the playground..

so much fun~

seriously, it was FUN...

because we can always feel like a kid again, like being reborn again.

(censored my face coz its just weird.. haha..)

after being there for like 15 mins my cousins came looking for me..

so cute, they were like: "You are wanted!! the police are looking for you."

his mood was remarkably happier and there wasn't much to do yesterday.
went for lunch at Nex, had BaliThai...

it was very delicious..

the difference is that instead of free flow of water, there is free flow of rice...
haha..

after lunch, i went to buy bubble tea. i wanted to try COME BUY.

the prices are quite competitive to the other brands.

prices start from $2.40 i think..

i bought chocolate!

chocolate! and kopi-o-kosong behind...

it cost $2.50..

i've been drinking a lot of bubble tea during this holiday..
