gintama live action film

I went for the preview show for the Gintama film last Saturday.

It was really enjoyable, I think if anyone were to watch it they should at least watch the first few ep or at least until the Benizakura arc of the anime beforehand to get an idea of how the show is.

Full of parody and puns, the actors did a good job portraying the characters.
Especially the veterans, the sword fighting scenes were quite good too.

decorated my bag with gintama badges and small charms

there were quite alot of people cosplaying too.

had cheesy chicken sausages pasta for lunch
haven't tried the new menu yet.

miss this quite abit.

Gintoki would approve
very filling and great to share.
had this at St Marc's cafe

went to check out Daiso and they have alot of new stuff
bookends
note pads
they have alot of summer related items

Oh Pine you're so fine, you blow my mind Hey Pine Apple, Pine Apple!

the stickers are cute too
was really tempted to get it though

why have just a display when you can light it up?
cactus shaped candles, look so pricking cute

Daruma, Fortune Cat and Racoon spirit mini plush

these were cute too.

tonkotsu ramen for dinner

well, will try to update again this weekend

EOY 2015 recap

hello, i'm back with a re-cap on my adventures of EOY!

EOY was held at the Marina Barrage from 15 to 16 August this year!

they changed some of the layout but nonetheless i felt that the turnout was as huge as usual.

planned to have lunch before heading over there and reached Marina Barrage at about 12+ noon

initially i wanted to get stuff after seeing the booths the first time but within the first 20 mins there i felt like the amount of people arriving had surged past my expected limit number so i ended up deciding to get the stuff first.

going to put the collective photos at the end later after this short summary of my whole day*

this year they separated the doujin booths to one side and the other side was for stage activities and performances.

the two areas were under the shade and away from the sun but still it was really hot when we were stuck in the crowd trying to browse the stuff for sale.

there were two other stalls near the stage area. i remembered one was Otaku-tachi but i can't remember the name of the other stall. i think they had stuff that were bootleg items but at really low prices. some of the stuff like posters and wall scrolls had very pretty designs though.

saw that there was Tokyo Ghoul wafers on sale so i got them.

the packaging is so pretty so i kept them!

i think they are the same series just 2 different package designs

really love the white design.

then we went to rest awhile and i ate the wafers, the open areas facing the bridge was so much more cooling.

really delicious the wafer but wish it was chocolate too.

after resting awhile we went back to walk around and buy more of the wafer before deciding to head to funan centre

saw that they were also selling Ichiban Kuji at Marina Barrage but i think it was over-priced!

one try was 15$ which is way too over the top...

wanted to try the Haikyuu Ichiban Kuji so decided to go to Ani-Nation

got the I and J prizes which were trading rubber mascots

Nishinoya and Oikawa

wanted to get more stuff but decided that i had spent alot and need to save up for the upcoming icds so only got the kuji

the kuji was 9$ for 1 try which is the price i'll pay

after looking at all the items we headed to Suntec to catch Attack on Titan movie

didn't like sitting through the trailers because it was horror.

could guess they would put horror since there was abit of gore in the show,

overall i say the movie was 3/5 stars

i thought there would be more action scenes with them using the 3DMG but only so few were using it.

overall, i think the reviews from most audiences are not so good.

i just want to watch the trailer for Terraformars movie... next year i guess.

after the movie i went home straight because i was tired.

now for the collective photos

Yowamushi Pedal and Gangsta.

the Yowamushi Pedal print was the last piece, so i decided to get it since i think the Yowamushi Pedal fandom is not so big here.

the gangsta prints are just too awesome and since i love the series i decided to get it.

only bought 1 A3 size print! the rest are smaller, i wonder if i will get more prints during icds?~

postcard size prints

so many pretty prints that i love so i decided to get it~

the Mikasa is so precious there, and i love the prints that can join to make a full picture

quite alot of Touken Ranbu art, perhaps i shall get other anime next time

i think there are alot of prints on sale during icds, have to go with clear mind and not freak out when there is too much pretty talented artists and merchandise there

keychain, badges and cards

i just love the justaway keychain. so cute coz it is doublesided and has an embarassed face on one side

so glad i managed to find my fave characters on the small badges.. the artist is called Secret Garden

the art is so cute i like everything they did even if its for anime characters i don't know..

everything chibi is so cute, i cannot resist

so happy i got Amon's character card from Tokyo Ghoul card collection

also got the items that i ordered online..

lots of money fly away

blue encount and androp new albums
yeah, so glad i got them...

currently they are on my replay list

song listing for both albums

so far my most replayed song for each album is

Letter - androp

MEMENTO - BLUE ENCOUNT

i keep getting reminded of Noda when i listen to Letter.

cards... more money to spend

shall probably make a post on them next time

:)

that's all for my recap will do more updating in the next weeks to come!~

bye for now...

25 June 2015

movie outing

went to watch Terminator genisys today since it was my off day

it was great!~

side note: One Republic's Love Runs Out was featured in a small scene during the movie!

made me smile!

after a while of not trying Ichiban Kuji, i tried again on Fate Stay Night.

Though i did not watch the anime i thought it looked cool.

and the result, i had 2 tries and got J prize first and then i got a D prize!

the series i played is this one!

there was the I prize which i thought was nice, but getting a figure was good too!

D prize: Figure J prize: Rubber Strap
i chose Saber over Archer figure because they were the 2 i could choose from

the rubber strap is a blind box and i didn't choose because the shop assistant just took one from the storage area and didn't let me choose

the character i wanted!
well, i guess lady luck was on my side today.

only some days, but i think kuji is still fun.

watched some videos of people in Japan playing kuji, it's crazy

Saber
eating a bowl of rice
but there are no side dishes?!~

"Oishi"

hmm,  really also wanted to buy re-ment but decided not to.

a photo of lunch

char siew rice and water cress soup

cheap and good!~

my rubber strap collection grows

everything except souma is rubber strap
haha

nothing much to update...

just that June is almost over and July is coming!!~

will be going to watch another show this weekend!~

yeah!~

will update again soon!~

06 May 2014

movie time

went to catch Rio 2 yesterday afternoon with my friend!

it was fun!

there were alot of Caucasians in the cinema hall too

before the show we went to the Charlie Brown cafe to eat lunch!

Beef Bolognese Spaghetti

Soup of the day: Mushroom soup

chocolate crepe

they were showing the peanuts gang cartoon on the tv inside the store

so cute!

here are just some pictures of the Angelala zelf with the mini zelfs

Angelala

if the mini ones could bend it would be better

white hair zelfs
yesterday was terribly hot in the afternoon but it rained in the evening

it's been like this for the past week

>.<

it's going to be a rainy period when the 2nd part of the year arrives

gotta save money for the year end events

but am tempted ton buying androp's period album

i fear it might be their last

towel with the names of all the corresponding albums which spells out "androp"

02 September 2013

the K- word

today was quite a Korea-theme day

let's say it was due to the movie, Rockin on Heaven's Door

and somehow before the show, it made me want to eat Tteokbokki

during the show, i was being reminded how nice it was to wear thick knitwear...

if only the weather here is suitable for it

lee hongki looks cute as usual in the show...

so tempted to watch another movie!

because it is so kickass right?

or the fact that it's gonna be a thriller.

or the fact it stars Takao Osawa from JIN series, or Tatsuya Fujiwara

i think Takao Osawa is in the same category as Ito Hideaki

because they suit badass charaters, rough looking kind of characters...

shall throw in the food pictures here

spicy~

they changed the sausages... don't taste as nice as last time..

Vegi pancakes
it's really yummy, best eaten while its still hot.

but not the same for the tteokbokki

rice cakes in spicy paste
i was having the chicken rice moment when i ate it.

my chicken rice moment is a long ago story...

i like to joke about it now still, when i was young i wanted to eat chicken rice, the rice not the chicken

so like for the tteokbokki, i wanted to eat the rice cakes but not the sauce.

the sauce was quite gooey..

i don't like~

eh...

will be watching City of Bones next week...

have yet to finish the book still, and i read online that one should read till the third book to understand the movie..

O.O eh?

hmm, i'll see how Bones go first before i proceed...

still haven't read the ghost bride yet ! ARGH~

and i finished every you, every me.

i think levithan and green will just make me :(
so i won't read their books, unless the world is ending, and i have no choice left...
but... maybe i prefer levithan over green... still, i will not put them on my list of fave authors.

anyways... thats all for today.

ciao amigos

20 April 2013

...

not too sure what has been in my mind the past 3 weeks but surprisingly i have got through it.

might be in my downhill period now

the thought came to me yesterday, "What am i working so hard for?"

i still have alot more to go through

where is my will?

anyway on other things.

WORLD BOOK DAY is held on 19-23 Apr 2013 (this weekend)

the bookstores like Popular and Kino are having discounts for many popular titles.

i want to check out the books on sale too!

i think if you are a member of the bookstore you can have further discount off the books of selected titles.

Platinum Data will be out here on 23 May!!~

i can't wait to watch it!

hopefully i have the time to catch it!!!!

there's a new store called Ladurée selling macarons at Taka...

some of the flavours sound so tasty, i want to try!

will this year be the time i try new things?

but it takes courage and open mind to try new things.

強くになる!

01 July 2012

such is a busy place...

like Singapore.

that's what i realized about the truth!
everyday, everybody is so busy... rushing to work, school, rushing back home.
squeezing in precious time with their loved ones, friends; trying to find time for themselves.

its so hectic...

so glad this week has come to a close, but a new month has just approached!
It's JULY already!~

so much to do, so little time.
but i trust that God will give me the strength to get through my days ahead.

Because he's our Maker and he has already planned for us the path on which we would take!

i can't wait for the movie day in my church!
they are going to screen the film, Courageous.

previously, i've watched the show Fireproof and it was really eye-opening.
anticipating Courageous!

will be updating again soon on OOR's live at SCAPE yesterday.
it was awesome...
^o^

and some news,
RADWIMPS will be releasing a new single, Sprechchor~
woo-hoo!~
i actually saw the cd jacket via tumblr but didn't know it was going to be a new one!
i don't even know how to pronounce the title of this new single..
but i'm wishing and hoping that some parts of the song will have English in it.
because i miss the english in their songs...

Sprechchor
Noda looks skinnier than before...
or maybe my eyes are playing tricks...

everyone must take care of themselves!
Life is too precious to waste~!

Rurouni Kenshin the movie will be premiering on 25 August in Japan.
Hopefully it will be shipped overseas soon!

Sato Takeru! last seen him in BECK.
his acting is pretty impressive...
wish he will have a new drama soon.

oh, and there's the Harry Potter exhibition in town.
it started in June 2 and will be on till 30 Sep.

i'm hoping i can go to check it out.
since  i'm a HP fan...

and speaking about my country...
my fellow countrymen/women, i want to intro you to one of my fave local yt channel
liangjiasun

or more known as Dr. Jia Jia... he and his big brother has videos that talks about all kinds of happenings around SG. like the train breakdown saga, or the latest mrt seat fight... they always teach viewers some Hokkien words to use.. very cute...

well, that's about it for now...

till then, BYE!

21 December 2011

pizza/movie/crepe = fun

went out to watch Alvin & the Chipmunks 3 today.

so fun!

Theodore is so cute!

chubby baby!~

the show made parody of quite a few other movies...

simon turning in si-mon the french chipmunk... reminds me of Buzz speaking Spanish..
haha..
and Zoey who was shipped wreck on the island and had "friends" just like Tom Hanks in Cast Away movie.

except she was supposed to be working for UPS.. lol..

after the movie we went to eat crepes!!

crabmeat mayo crepe

it was great!

had chocolate milk from Gong Cha as well..

^^

super enjoyable!~

and i finally found Quartet selling at Poh Kim...

ah!~ so wanna buy it!!!

Yuya just released his new pv, Kimi e no Love song ~10nen saki mo~
(translated: The Love Song for you ~(even after) 10 years ~

nice song!!

wanna drink bubble tea again!!

:]

ok, was browsing through tokyohive and saw this weird news...

there is a cross-dressing idol unit called fudanjuku..
8 girls who dress up like guys...

fudanjuku

yes, they are all girls...
though i think some of them still look feminine..

no idea why Japan likes to create such groups...
all have the idol trend...

._.

ok, that's all for today~

29 November 2011

breaking dawn~

hey!

yesterday i went to watch the Twilight saga: Breaking Dawn ~part 1~ with my friends.

we went to E Hub @ Downtown East to watch it.

since the start of this month, all the shopping malls have been decked with Christmas deco but i didn't have a chance to snap pictures.

yesterday, i managed to take some.

Downtown East has the Wild wild Wet and theme park which attracts mainly young kids and teens.
this year, Mr Men and Little Miss makes their appearance at Downtown East!

Little Miss Chatterbox & Mr Bump

ferris wheel ride
E Hub is the only shopping mall which has an indoor ride for kids.
i like ferris wheels... :D
banisters decorated with x'mas deco~

my favourite theme park ride is the ferris wheel.
because i know the outcome, it goes round and round and round...
therefore it explains my dislike for roller-coasters.
cut-outs!
so cute!! :D

the movie was quite good.. though i wasn't a fan of Twilight.

i was kept awake throughout the movie because of the cold.

freezing inside the theatre..

there were a few of people who walked out half-way of the show.
either they couldn't ta-han the cold or the show was getting draggy.

i also felt that it was too draggy during the honeymoon part.

they could have hurried up withe the pregnancy and maybe there wouldn't be a need for part 2.

i  think there don't need to have series for movies.

sometimes it gets too much.

not sure if i would want to watch part 2.. maybe i shall just read the book..

haha.. :D

i have not read the series yet.

anyway, i;m on team jacob ...

i don't really like immortality.
it means being to live forever but see you're loved ones pass on. (if they were not vampires)

besides life is a process of living and dying..

what's the use if you can't die?

dying for someone you love, means much more than living forever.
immortality would mean living on Earth.. it doesn't mean the Earth would be better.
there would still be hatred, war, politics, bad stuff.

i rather live forever up there with the Saviour.

(it's just an opiniated post about immortality. no offence.)

☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆***☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆

i went to East Coast Park with my poly friends yesterday to cycle.

it was a good experience and since i never exercise much, it was much needed.

some of the pictures i took when we stopped at the jetty.

the sound of the sea

wind fan? measeures the speed of wind...
if there's such thing.

they should have put a wind sock.
haha.. coz it will be cuter... =_='''

im lame.. okok...

while we were cycling could hear and see many planes flying overhead!
i saw: SIA, Tiger Airways, QATAR Airways, Jet Star and maybe Quantas?

why no ANA? ( ̄へ ̄)

im lovin japan.. so always looking out for jepun stuff.
(*jepun is japan in Malay!)

oh, juz to side track a little...
last time in ite, my friends were all k-pop lovers..
when we had class once, and our teacher said the word, courier
they all were like, "Korea?!"
and teacher was like, no not Korea! Courier service, courier!
o(^▽^)o
haha.. funny..
and then after that i also got sucked into korea side...

lol... yeah, my life story with music adventures... ok..

back to yesterday.

SIA plane fly-ing towards Changi

after we rode back to the start point and returned the bikes we went to watch movie.

while on the bus..
we passed by Esplanade, MBS, Flyer... and Suntec City area.

and i took picture again.
i can't remember when i started to take pictures so frequently.

ooh... looks like its gonna rain!

when i said take picture, i usually mean the scenery or other stuff.
never camwhore.. outside... much... (^^)

fly-er

we watched Friends With Benefits at the Cathay...

it's the movie with Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis.

its was funny... the movie...
but we were freezing in the cinema..
reason: we realized it had rained the time we were watching the show, that's why the extreme cold!

☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆***☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆

i had dinner at Thai Express...

BBQ chicken rice set

spring rolls

tapioca pearls with coconut milk dessert

very filling meal.

and it was decently priced: $8.90++

when i came back... the thing i realised...

i got sunburn abit.

the white patch is where i wore my watch.. the rest is red.

theni thought that was all..

until i looked at my leg..

blue-black -black-blue

my harry legs..
i am a hairy monkey... haahaahaa..

too bad i dont have my mother's hair-less genes...

i wonder if males are really turn off by hairy girls..

>.>

but aren't they hairy as well?

then we also get turn off.

-__-

ok, i've got a superr lame rant here...

i will be back later...

i will reveal a picture in my next post.
