the end of another fun day!
had a good time yesterday!

i met up with kimeki at Promenade station before at about 11am before heading to STGCC

we were l-ost for awhile... when we thought of MBS; we thought it was the blue buildings...

we were wrong!

well, long story short we found out where it was and bought our tickets.
we headed in and walked around but realized it was still very early.

bought some badges and  took photos of the exhibits around.

and i must say: I'm proud of myself for taking more cosplay pictures than i ever did in the previous years.
and i'm not talking about the cosplayers on stage...

will talk about my yi jian zhong qing in awhile later...

and something i must rant about~ the FOOD

alright so after we took the photos and finished walking the halls we decided to find food.
Rant
I'm glad we found alternatives instead of being extorted during lunch time.
I don't know but i think they strategically place the food court farrrrr from the convention halls.
literally walking a huge circle to the food court and finding out it's daylight robbery.
Example: $6+ for chicken rice

I have not enough money to waste on a plate of that which looks like something i could get for $2+ at my neighbourhood coffeeshop...

i'm a cheapo and i'm not blaming them for selling it at that price...
they have to pay rent and all that...
but the moral of the story don't put all the eggs in one basket!
and always keep your hopes up and eyes open!

i met my colleague from my workplace during my internship last time while we were walking to find the exit...
luckily we found 7-11 and got nasi lemak at $2.70 from there...
cheap and good!

finally i got a pic of gintama characters!
there was a kagura on the cosplay catwalk too!

now this part will be about the "lonely guy"...
ok, actually not but anyway, when we first saw him we knew it was a character from Bleach.
but the name we weren't sure.

ah, and continuing with PIKO special showcase~
he was awesome~
he sang Sakurane, Make my Day, Story and some others i can't remember...
during the encore he sang Yumehana...

after his segment ended we went back to walk around the exhibitions and queued up for some free Nescafe.
while waiting i saw another friend of mine!
she also came to see PIKO!

i tasted the white coffee hot... it was ok- i'm not really a coffee person.

and about 4.15pm we went to sit at the main stage area because we were lazy to walk already and decided to chill there...

they were having the Hot Toys special segment, autograph session with Korean artists.
and the dj was playing Korean songs!
SuJu, 2NE1, GG songs...
and once they played Gangnam Style. haha...

i didn't take much pictures of the cosplay catwalk...
they dragged the timing and started at 5.40pm...
but i took some pictures...
Esther was also there on the cosplay catwalk.
i think i saw viospace but i'm not sure...

short update

less than a week till my first paper.

i have to go back for revision for lpcs because my grades aren't up to standard yet.

shall do my best!

side note about stgcc 2012.

The Events Schedule has been out!

i guess the turnout would be equally same on both days
if i am able to i would like to go on Sunday.

because of 2 reasons:

1. Cosplay event
2. PIKO will be coming!

i really miss watching cosplay events, so i just want to go and check out like previously.
and also because the venue has changed! I've not been to MBS yet so it should be an eye-opener for me and many others out there who have may not have gone there.

And secondly, PIKO will be a guest performer there~

i also saw another video of him on MTV Taiwan, the host was Calvin from Fahrenheit
he went to Taiwan to promote his album and had a handshake session there.

side-side note: Calvin is good at hosting. I think we should learn from them how to ask questions without making interviewee feel awkward. Maybe the questions were all standard and somewhat boring but i feel it's quite professional. it's just my opinion..

oh, and think about 2 weeks ago Danny Choo tweeted one day that he was filming with flumpool.
he went to one of their lives too.
but there's no update of what he filmed with them after that that day.

wonder what they did? will they appear on his channel, Culture Japan?
(which i doubt so since they didn't do any theme songs for anime?)

hmm, hope that more news will come out of it.
meanwhile i will be awaiting for flumpool and WEAVER live on 15/9!

and yesterday i came across a really interesting game show called Dasshutsu game DERO
its something like the Escape the Locked room series.
to crudely put it, almost like the Saw movies.

erm, but participants don't really die. 
instead they play intellectual mini-games, like quizzes.
it's a game show that tests how fast people can think when they are stuck in a panic-mode situation.


its so cool how the floor starts moving and the platforms on the pillars come out.
the "endless pit" is actually CGI. there's a safety net below it.
but its still creepy how realistic it looks.
