music and random posting

love the melody!!

sounds like a very good awesome ending for an anime

starting to feel the early stages of a sorethroat again

>-<

hate it!!

some pictures from the past month

celebrated my friends birthday!!
both the cake and cupcakes were from Takashimaya's Basement

they were really yummy

the chocolate cake was good!!

everyone liked the panda cupcake coz it was cute!

Ha Ji Won meet and Greet @ Plaza Singapura
but i was on lvl 4 when i took this...

too many people... just too many

it's really crazy

i wonder how much more weight this island can bear before it starts breaking

i know that is a bad thing to say, but hey! i'm just being realistic.

we are still the smallest country but slowly in recent years growing very overpopulated

too much...

it's really scary

maybe if i were to go somewhere to beat the crowd, i would want to go somewhere like that coastal part in the video

just nature and the sea

free & easy with no worries (for that moment)

Just Acia soft-shell crab and rice set with chawanmushi

nice!!

soft serve ice cream chocolate and vanilla

i love the soft serve!

it's very nice!~

it's a good experience to try new food

yeah!!

the outlet we went to was at Dhoby Exchange

its quite a big area that the restaurant occupies.

there were quite alot of people who were eating there in big groups

affordable and nice

as of now, 1/10/2014 10PM i have lost my voice

much to my disappointment

i think i shouldn't have too much oily food

damn

done for now

bye

~START WALKING THE WORLD TOUR~

thanks for the wait. (if there are ppl waiting for this post anyway.)

so, as i said before i will do a summary/thoughts about OOR concert on 30/6.

let's get started!!!

first notice i had when i reached *SCAPE was that there was A LOT of people.
like seriously, the queue was mad...

not to mention my friend and i made an epic mistake.
lol... we went to the VIP queue which was at the back of *SCAPE near the playpark...

the GA queue had been shifted outside next to the AFA shop...
we were so blur... ε=ε=ε=ε=ε=┌(; ・_・)┘

luckily when we reached the GA queue we weren't so far behind..
many other fans were behind us later...

ticket and me.
●━━━━━━━━●××××●━━━━━━━━●××××●━━━━━━━━●

we went into the warehouse at 6.40pm and the show started on time at 7pm.
everyone immediately went into frenzy the moment the lights all switch off.

another note was that not only was there alot of people, but there was alot of Japanese folks too.
and there was quite a number of Malays. i guess its because its ROCK that's why they also came to rock out man!!

really, i'm not being sarcastic or anything like that, but i kinda envy the Malay community in SG...
did you know for their music shows (on Suria) most of the time is rock bands from Indonesia or Malaysia?
yes, i like the band Peterpan.... their music is cool 'kay?
i  know, i listen to alot of music... am i the only one who is like that?

ok, sorry for deviating away from the topic... yes, back to ONE OK ROCK!

i must apologise first that i'm not altogether familiar with their songs, only a couple of them are my favourites.
and i was so happy when they performed:
Liar
The Answer is Near
Wherever You Are
Re:make
Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer

ok. so i wanted to talk about the people around me...
a bunch of guys who were like super high from start to end of the concert.
particular this one guy who was shaking and jumping crazily... which freaked me out abit.
・∀・ ;) あ

i managed to sneak a photo of Ryota, Taka, Toru. Tomoya is hidden behind the drums..
and i was too far so i can't see him!
under the bright lights
Ryota. Taka. Toru

after the first couple of songs Taka spoke to the audience in Engrish...
he was so cute... (●´∀`)ノ♡
after that the members all took turns to speak..
Tomoya said in Mandarin: Jin tian bu hui jia~
and Toru was like... "I'm sad because I could see the merlion..."

i guess SG only famous landmark is the merlion...
last time, AKB also went to see the merlion, and SMAP too.

●━━━━━━━━●××××●━━━━━━━━●××××●━━━━━━━━●

i only started to warm up and enjoy myself when they performed The Answer is Near.
Taka got everyone singing the ♪。゜+.才才才才才才才才才才。゜+.♪
it was the best part!! \(≧▽≦)/〜♪
it is the best song for a live!! get's the spirit up!

and i was singing along when they did Wherever you are...
Taka didn't sound sick even though the newspaper report mentioned he was unwell.

Taka was saying: "This song... is very sweet song. yeah?"
yes, that's what i said... i love ballad songs from rock bands.
they are always so full of emotion.

and one part before they were still talking...
Taka said: "Shashin totte iindesuka?"
and their staff helped to take a picture of them with the audience.

credits: J-Live Asia & AMUSE inc.

sadly, i can't be seen.. lol...
his mic cord is so striking...
it's like his signature.... the red cord mic represents Taka..

●━━━━━━━━●××××●━━━━━━━━●××××●━━━━━━━━●

also before they performed C.h.a.o.s.m.y.th... Taka asked an audience member to help translate what he said (because he spoke in Jap)
Basically he said this next song we are going to do was written for a friend. And even though this is our first time in Singapore, we were all friends. And we want to dedicate this song to you, friends.

so... can i be a translator now? haha...
no lah, what Taka said is really simple Jap... if its like subbing a drama, i think i still need to work on my Jap listening and writing skills.

Taka also promised us that he will work hard to study English so that he can converse with us the next time OOR comes back for another gig.

they performed 2 songs at the encore before closing the show at 8.45pm
which was really early for a band...

so  here's another lousy picture of the stage...
the Rock spirit is still there...

many fans actually waited around to see the band leaving. they are so lucky...
too bad, my friend and i didn't stay longer...
we were pretty tired.. so we had some Artease and went to HMV before going back.
i tried Apple Rose Tea... it was nice~

that's all for my re-cap on the concert...
i enjoyed myself and i think others did too.
i hope J-Live Asia will be able to bring in more acts in the end of the year too!
And even more the coming years...

A memory of June 2012 that I can go back to relieve in the future.

04 March 2012

~~~ヾ ^∇^おはよー♪
anyway, yesterday i went to town.
had lunch at CoCo Ichibanya.
ヽ(‘ ∇‘ )ノ ワーイ
( ̄〜; ̄)
Omelet Hashed Beef rice
super deli-cious!
haha...
i should have tried the normal rice but the omelet always attracts me...
we wanted to check out the AFA shop at *SCAPE but when we were there it was closed.
there was a sign saying it will be opened at 2pm.
so disappointed we went into the AKB48 shop.
the shops are all pretty small...
so they can't stock alot of things actually.
um... it was nicely decorated i must say.
bought grass jelly milk tea from Artease!
bubble tea
there was not alot of grass jelly but i'm ok with the tea.
it was nice!!
also went to the usual haunts, HMV, Kino...
i saw Jeanette Aw at Kinokuniya!!!
there was a huge crowd there.
didn't mean to go Kino purposely to see, just so happened that when we reached Kino we realized she was there to promote her book, Definitions and sign the book.
she's in the center!
93.3 fm DJs chong qing and Ivy were there as well.
i took a short video as well.
my video!
she's so pretty in real life.
the attraction of Bugis must be getting stronger.
took a bus down there again to check Kino there to see if there was any magazines.
but i didn't buy any.
sad me.
Jodi Picoult has a new book, Lone Wolf.
i feel like reading it...
yay! i'm so glad my friend liked the card i gave her... (~-~;)ヾ(-_-;)オイオイ
and she also watches the same youtuber as me...
LOL..
i will definitely do another post on the YT thing.
but not now.
i shall disappear now... ε=ε=ε=ε=ε=┌(; ・_・)┘
gotta eat my lunch! ( ^o^)( ^−^)(^〜^) モグモグ♪
22 January 2012
i did this video instead.
it's the eve of CNY!
everyone's getting ready for their reunion dinner tonight.
everyone who celebrates CNY that is...
it's about to rain again.
yesterday it rained fiercely about this time as well...
i also watched some fancams of flumpool in Taiwan.
wah!! they are so nice, they gave autographs to their fans..
*o*
really hope they can come here for AFA...
wishing that will really happen!!
before i end, here are pictures of CNY deco..
HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR!
AFA 2011 (Day 2) - Festival + Stage
・‥…━━━☆・‥…━━━☆・‥…━━━☆・‥…━━━☆・‥…━━━☆
the long awaited day of the year had finally arrive.
i wasn't as kiasu as others who were at the event at 9+...
i was waiting for my friend at Dhoby at 11+ and saw people walking with huge bags full of anime merchandise and swords. *_*
we only reached Suntec at about 12.30-ish..
we had lunch and by the time we entered the festival grounds it was 1.20pm
・‥…━━━☆・‥…━━━☆・‥…━━━☆・‥…━━━☆・‥…━━━☆
swords & brollies
AFA has been selling such items since the first year, so its nothing new.
but many people still buy it..
for collection?
see the furry rabbit ear hat in the pic.
i saw many others wearing it too.. it's so cute..
but i was already wearing my neko mimi so too bad..
almost forgotten to add:
we went in to the main stage area for awhile, before we headed to the festival grounds.
I saw Danny Choo on stage!
he was interviewing Milky Holmes...
hearing him 'live' is so much cooler than just watching him on Culture Japan.
:)
on with the pics...
baby Beel!~
many people were crowding around behind the photographer taking pictures for free.
lol... this is how they suck money out of us..
Cool Japan Forum
there were many booths inside this area...
we didn't go inside here yet, we continued walking around the other areas..
meeow!
many girls were crowding around to buy...
haha... :D
entry to MUSE ~ Taiwan NO. 1 Anime Merchandise Creator
the queue was comparable to the Moe Moe Kyun and Atelier Royale Cafe...
the only other thing that was free and had no queue was these!
Reborn! large poster
Fairytail
Kuroshitsuji II
Ao no Exorcist
just behind the MUSE booth was itasha!
its basically car decals...
there were more cars showcased last year, but i think there was space contraints this year, so only 1 car was displayed.
mirai-chan!
(Mirai) she's Danny Choo's animated creation...
Good Smile company is so awesome!~
:) car head-rest
mirai-chan's seifuku
everybody took a pic of the mannequin because of the 'head'
LOL...
side of the car
figmas all dressed up in Mirai's seifuku
they look so weird, maybe i'm not used to the orange and white combo...
dollfies
i think that is Saber in the display cabinet. (on the left)
She's Danny Choo's daughter..
・‥…━━━☆・‥…━━━☆・‥…━━━☆・‥…━━━☆・‥…━━━☆
after walking about we decided to join the queue at MUSE.
freaking crowded...
Kuroshitsuji posters
more posters
again!
haha.. we spent about 10mins waiting in line and as we were outside we looked at the catalogue given to us...
it's not cheap, not cheap at all.
:(
i didn't buy anything, just browsed.
the two cafes next to each other...
ready for Christmas?
after waiting awhile we continued walking around the toy booths...
Plastic Yoda!
he looks younger than before..
hehe... the usual for Star Wars fans...
i'm evil and cute.
the last one is for DC comic fans...
fighting to save the world!
・‥…━━━☆・‥…━━━☆・‥…━━━☆・‥…━━━☆・‥…━━━☆
Nendroids now~
BRS in cheerleading outfit...
promoting Good Smile Co.
she looks like a squid...
not that i like her. the green octopus below is cute.
is it supposed to be a amplifier for her keyboard?
more nendroids...
kitty magnifying glass
these are modelled after Milky Holmes, i think.
tummy!
haha... this one is so cute...
the pink one reminds me of Chobits
i found the other photographers quite nice, in a way they are considerate to others taking photos.
they always stop and let others shoot...
i didn't take much figmas because i prefer nendroids...
megane power!
so cute!
haha...
don't mess with me!
this one is so pink! ._.
cool~
say i'm cute!
・‥…━━━☆・‥…━━━☆・‥…━━━☆・‥…━━━☆・‥…━━━☆
the next part, is a very surprising part of the trip.
we were unsure where to go after looking at the nendroids.
so as we were standing around this area:
NICO not the one that touches the walls
:(
they were showing animes...
there were many cos-ers walking around and as my friend stopped to snap some pictures.
i heard screams and commotion going on at the corner of NICO...
then i saw FLOW!
(i think the camera crew were touring the festival grounds and FLOW had just finished their appearance on the main stage area. they were heading to the back stage to rest and had to walk through the fest grounds. i heard them greet:"Good afternoon! We are FLOW." and something like that.)
my reaction was shock and tried to tell my friend that they were here...
only took this super blur picture of them..
FLOW-ing away to the backstage to rest
sigh~ me and my terrible photography skills.
Keigo has the cutest smile...
during the Anisong concert..
i didn't know Keigo was the older brother, he and Takeshi (guitar)are brothers..
i have some more pics, will put it up later...
we went on to see the gashapon area...
no need to say right?
gotta get'em all!
doesn't he look familiar?
he was here last AFA too!
side view of the ship
the other ship...
don't anger me or i will ram you!
the only anime i like is Gintama...
the last few years, Hatsune Miku was a hot chara to cosplay.
but recently, Gintama chara like Gin-san or the Shinsengumi have been very popular as well...
i got the eyepatch handphone cleaner...
i want them!!
robo keychains and Bleach
can i buy one of these machines?
haha..
・‥…━━━☆・‥…━━━☆・‥…━━━☆・‥…━━━☆・‥…━━━☆
i have a few more pictures of the fest but i think i will upload it in the next post with the Anisong review..
omygosh...
so much to remember... :D
oh yes, and psps... i saw a glimpse of yutaki...
if you don't know him, go google.
anyway, he was working as a butler in the Atelier Royale Cafe..
we were trying to look for two cos-ers as Gin-san and Kagura in the Gin-pachi sensei version.
so we walked around the Canon cosplay zone and the area behind the cafes.
there were many many cos-ers.. kind of got lost in the crowd.
so we just anyhow walked into the back area where many cos-ers were preparing their stuff.
the back exit of the Butler cafe was covered with a cloth.
i saw him!!
he's so handsome...
damn ikemen leh...
hurhur... so sad, i don't have guts to go into the cafe...
and not enough money...
okok...
shall go off now...
will be back again!
