New Year's Eve and New Year!

i'm back! going to do another re-cap on the past days events or maybe not so event-ful...

lol...

i was out for almost half the day but already back home at nightfall so... yeah, i wasn't those party-ing the night away at Sentosa, Vivocity, Orchard or elsewhere.

bummer huh...

oh well, let's get on..

in the morning, my whole family made our way to:

haha... close but not quite, we didn't go to the zoo.

we went to Mandai Columbarium to visit my grandparents, uncle and aunt-in law..
their remains in the urns, i mean...

not planing to start my entry on such a solemn note actually, but hey that was how my day started so i'm just recording it here... but it got better..

so, after we visited we took a bus back to Ang Mo Kio and then changed bus to go to Maxwell Market and Food centre... it's near Chinatown and more to Tanjong Pagar mrt station...

saw that the Pokemon Christmas tree was already taken down...

the inside of the mall is still hanging all the Christmas deco but the songs are all playing CNY songs.

and i also saw news that this year's stgcc will be held at Marina Bay Sands...

MBS or as i call it the sampan that crashed on top of 3 towers, is so high class..
i foresee the ticket prices to be higher than before if they were to hold there...

shall just set my eyes on AFAXII now!

in 2010 they used the roman numeral X so it became AFAX
so this year they are re-using the same pattern, AFAXII...
since its 2012..
and it might be held in Nov again? it's almost a 1 year wait!!

hoping for great things at this year's AFA!!

what's up everyone?

Hope you all had a great time during the long weekend..

so, just wanted to re-re-re-cap what happened during the weeekend!

my bo-ring life oh! prettty sad anyways, so lets just get to it!

pre-christmas - 24/12

the morning to afternoon was quite.. ._. meh!
got pissed because of stuff at home, but then decided to heck and try to forget it.

in the night, i went to candlelight service at church with my mum.
i have never been to a candlelight service before so it was a new experience.

i expected it to be real candles...


but........

light stick?

yes, perhaps its due to the changing times so they decided to switch to safer option?

but guess what?
when i was breaking my light stick it leaked! LOL...

no proof of it but it was quite funny...

my mum still asked if it was toxic. ^w^

oh well, just pardon the oldies they don't know well about such things..

actually, i really like the outside deco at Toa Payoh...

the lights on the trees not the ugly signs on the grass..
the focus is abit wrong

again, the focus on the lights not floor..

christmas - 25/12

morning and early afternoon was the same as the previous day. MEH~

i went to my aunt's place with my mum for X'mas gathering...

it was good.. i wished the toy cam would have saved the pictures properly...

luckily i took some when i was at the playground...


usually i have some 'me-time' when i'm at these family gathering things...

went to the playground..

so much fun~

seriously, it was FUN...

because we can always feel like a kid again, like being reborn again.

(censored my face coz its just weird.. haha..)

after being there for like 15 mins my cousins came looking for me..

so cute, they were like: "You are wanted!! the police are looking for you."

the monster tree was at Toa Payoh and the other one was at Novena..

post-christmas - 26/12

his mood was remarkably happier and there wasn't much to do yesterday.
went for lunch at Nex, had BaliThai...

grilled cuttlefish and ladyfingers

assam fish head curry~

it was very delicious..

the difference is that instead of free flow of water, there is free flow of rice...
haha..

after lunch, i went to buy bubble tea. i wanted to try COME BUY.

the prices are quite competitive to the other brands.

prices start from $2.40 i think..

i bought chocolate!

chocolate! and kopi-o-kosong behind...

it cost $2.50..

i've been drinking a lot of bubble tea during this holiday..

and i can only drink during this time, school's starting again next week.

and once Christmas was over everyone started putting up Chinese New Year deco already.

CNY is in January next year, so fast!

it was delicious!!

after we finished i followed my friends to the sweets shop...

i bought this:

sugary conoction...

gives adults a toothache and children a little high...

i'm in the middle so i guess its ok.

i think this was the only favourite sweet i liked...

i tried it the first time on the school trip to Little India when i was Pri 5...

saw another stall selling baby eggplant and cucumbers..

really tiny!! so cute!~

i had CDS yesterday...

met up with the girls at about 6+ for dinner...

we went to Raffles City's Soup Spoon

pumpkin soup with roasted almonds

i ordered something to go along with the soup too..

really enjoyed the short get-together with them...

we usually wait super long like a few months to meet...
they went kite flying in the afternoon but i couldn't go with them because of class.

i wanted to catch KAIJI 2 with kimeki this Tues.

sadly, though i had rushed to the box office it was already sold out.

since we couldn't watch it we decided to walk around town...

they still had that tree but it was put at the side near the escalators...

the bigger surprise was the tree in the lobby/near the info counter or Takashimaya.
