taking time to rest

here to update again as it's my off day!

seems like i have so much going on as i'm going out to meet friends instead of staying at home and burning the net.

"Burning the net" the term created when i'm furiously surfing the net for more than 3 hours straight any given time of the day.

so much for hoe i should invest in doing things.

should do more life enriching activities instead of burning the net whenever i'm free.

so is spotify an outlet?

a haha...


October is upon us, fast so fast the year is closing in.

hope things will be well for us, everyone else too

so glad that Oceanlane is on spotify.

still remember the time when they were heavily listened by me during school days.

they are one of my fave japanese bands that sang English songs.

coldrain is going to be my second fave, although in general their image is very heavy and moody.

Oceanlane is slightly lighter, they do have songs that are lyrically dark too.

realised i haven't bought any albums recently, just haven't found anything new that i really like.

but i don't mind listening to old songs, so much memories to relieve.

really like the chill music, so relaxing.

Anna can harmonize really well, her vocal tone suits Justin's nicely

i was just listening to some of their songs from their past album, crossroads.
so i decided to check their website to see if they had any new stuff.
i'm so glad i checked!

the title, Urban Sonnet sounds interesting...
currently listening to the sample of all the tracks.
their music hasn't changed much - that's good.
they are still doing their songs in english~

very few japanese bands can do english..
that's why OCEANLANE caught my attention.

on days like this..

i tend to get cold feet more easily.. not being scared/backing out but literally cold feet.. that's why i dislike rainy days alot.. although the cold air is refreshing but too much makes me feel chilly.. i don't like that feeling.. whenever i'm feeling cold, i love to have something warm in my hands like a cup of coffee or chocolate.. and i always think of drinking Campbell soup.. thick and warm.. gives me a homely feeling.. they never fail to make my day..

on one hand they are serious musicians passionate about their songs, on the other hand they are like part-time performers never failing to make me laugh even at their lamest jokes/pranks..
i guess you can say that i'm too emotional?? in the fun way.. i can laugh about something for a pretty long time.. even if it's a small thing, it always makes an impression on me and i'll remember it..

this morning i tried my luck on yt and searched for hikari DVD Type A.. and i got a wonderful surprise! some one had put up the full DVD, but there wasn't any subs.. :(
no problem.. i'm sure i can understand it..
