back after so long!

everything has been good so far.

just plain busy with work and the tasks handed to me for the current year's happenings

>.<

still i will hope that i stay healthy

because i realized last year there was a trend that happened to me

falling ill in May

just some reason or bad omen but i fell ill then and the subsequent months were riddled with the flu

if the same shit happens this year, it's a sign.

besides that part of my life...

my days when i relax is going ok too

but i've been abit mental recently.

and mental in not a good way

maybe it's time for some music?

they are pretty awesome with covers

Potato (band)

i don't know the song but it's rock so... it doesn't matter

anyway, i love their other song Ter Yang

honestly i listened to the cover of this song by Kelly Clarkson and John Legend

both of them (covers) are beautiful though

he covered quite a number of anime theme songs

pretty good too!

not sure why, he reminds me of the guy who does TenSecondSongs

James singing Beautiful Girls Are the Loneliest

it's my fave song..

What Happened to your band

he may not have the best vocals, but he writes good songs

cannot deny talent when it's obvious

below are some pictures to dump (from the past months and recent weeks)

bonito flakes on some soup that i forgotten the name

my dinner a few weeks ago

you can't not have food pictures on a blog

pizza hut CNY special

had this for lunch with my old man

such bliss to have a restaurant empty to ourselves

yowapedal colors

have yet to read this but i do like the anime and the art is really different

kinda like the use of copic markers style but it's nice

finally the book i was waiting for!

currently reading

it may be another long series but... i will persevere

because this story is good

something i bought on impulse

because it is Adolf Reinhardt

and Terra Formars also has very manly kind of art

which is directed more to the males

not read this too but i will when i am done with noragami

ichiban kuji

it's so awesome!

i was so excited when i saw this

and the result...

Ban

yeah!!

not sure if i blog about this before

sketch of spoon 2di vol.65

kinda silly sketch

i do admit its terrible, when i have seen pros... i think i have no talent in drawing

but i find that doing highlights in the hair and clothes are quite fun

i did this in one sitting hence delaying my bath for an hour..

lol...

and this concludes the end of my materialistic part in this post

will most probably be going to Doujima next month at SCAPE

till then!

news!!

when i read the Mind Your Body newspaper today, there was an column that caught my attention. it was titled, "Couch potatoes die younger".

From a 14 year study by the American Cancer Society (ACS) it was found that sitting down for 6 hours or more a day INCREASED the death rate by 40% in women and 20% in men.

The study found that people who sit a lot and exercise very little are at an even higher risk of death.

-o- omg.

i think i'm going to be one of those who die early. less suffering. ha-ha-ha.

(i'm not kidding on this. i'm not those sporty kind of people.)

perhaps i should stop all my activities on the PC and quit watching tv.

maybe i could go kite flying every Saturday too. that's counted as exercise right? :D

anyways, besides the serious note. i was just a little bored so i opened up Keyhole TV to see what i could watch from there and i found something!!

pictures below:

He's Beautiful is showing on channel FujiTV..

:) yes, it's dubbed just like Winter Sonata.

but heck, it sounds nice.

maybe the voice overs are done by

those anime voice actors. lol.

and  i saw Mini Toons selling the pig rabbit soft toy. the mini version but its cute too.. :)

i wonder how much is it.

i saw the Tokio Hotel album selling at CS-RAMA with the entry pass to their autograph session

on the 4th of August at 6.30pm at Bugis Junction.

>.< i wanna see stars again!! but i want it to be free.

:P that's when the phrase, "you wait long long ah!" comes in.

oh what the...

great.. i will stop here for today.

gotta go do my powerpoint slides. :P

right now

i am stuck onto this song

the german version is nice too.. Tokio Hotel is so awesome! they are so young as well.

SID's rain pv is out as well!!

yeah~ this is just the way i want to start my week off!

ft island's new japanese single, flower rock
this is more of an eye-candy video. haha.

i do take my hat off to them, because they are one of the few korean bands that actually have instruments, like a real band. rock band. :)

i like this other korean band called ROYAL PIRATES.. they have many videos on yt.. mostly doing covers of many popular k-pop songs..

this song is written by the vocalist and it's their demo song..
the bass is wicked here and the melody is ringing. :)

Rock lives forever!! Yeah~ :D
