after the interval flumpool's live started!

it was super high!

flumpool has more experience in lives so they had a little more stage presence than WEAVER.

Ryuta was so animated... cute

and Kazuki was the most loved in Japan... Doraemon!

i couldn't see much of Genki either (same problem during the first half of the show)
i'm like a midget blocked by giants...

Seiji was behind... the drums... and way behind the stage..

flumpool also had an additional member that night..
he helped to play keyboards... i forgot his name... :(

they performed lots of songs...

all of which I could only remember Touch, two of us, Because... I am, labo and Natural Venus.

the others which i can't remember the titles... but i heard it before...

there was a bunch of Japanese guys standing at my left side.

they were super high...

kept shouting ENCORE when both WEAVER and flumpool finished their setlists and went backstage awhile.

while WEAVER did one song for encore, flumpool did 3 songs.

of course, given that flumpool has more songs out than WEAVER...

by far, i think this was a great live and i enjoyed my time spent.

compared to the OOR crowd, this live was by far more contained and not so much jumping about.
OOR was like.. from start to end jumping... lol...

the next event J-Live has in store is the JROCKVOLUTION which is more of the vk and more rock. which i won't be attending... and in November, Perfume will be coming as well.

November is also AFA 2012!!
Hopefully I can make it for one of the days!!
want to see some more cosplay.

a little more than a month more till AFA starts.

there is EOY in Dec as well, may try to go for it too.

japan-related events coming up...

going to state the obvious events that will be happening in the 3rd and 4th quarter of 2012

yes, time flies and there's only 6 months left.

2012 will not be the end of the world.

At least for most of us.

1. OOR Start walking the World Tour (SG) - 30 June
2. STGCC 2012 - 1-2 Sep
3. AFA'12 - 9-11 Nov

i'm going for OOR concert but still unsure about the other 2 events.

the timing this year is really not good.

brings me back to 2009, when i missed AFA that year.

i will be super busy starting from next month and that's a pretty sad thing.

oh well, guess playing too much is also bad coz it makes one grow lazy.

i do want to see cosplay again. because i didn't get to see much last year.

there's EOY 2012 too!

the timing is quite alright but i'm not sure if i have company to go with.

AFA website is still not updated since there's still 5 months more to go.

(thus i didn't put the link.)

even if i could go for the events this year, it would only be on the last day which is Sunday.

and its always usually packed.

there were a couple of big announcements via fb over the past weekend.


Firstly, it's AFAmy 


lucky Malaysians get to experience AFA this year...
and since AFA has tested the SG market, they have made sure to bring a fantastic array of guests to perform at AFAMY too..


FLOW will be there to peform in the Super Anisong Genki Live concert..
Kalafina, KOTOKO, Maon Kurosaki and Sea☆A as well.




mostly it will be all anime-related artistes...


i'm glad AFA has come up with J-Live Asia to encourage and invite other acts (not only j-pop) to go overseas to perform...




and the next and only other news is... EOY 2012

changes in venue

for the past 2 or so years, EOY has been held at Republic Poly.


i had wanted to go but always didn't have time or no one to accompany.






but this year! they are holding the events at Marina Barrage and Esplanade!!


honestly i hope i can make it this year... if the tickets are affordable for me.


i hope i'm free during that period as well...




just a side news from Korea side.


the BOYZ NITE OUT K-pop Festival concert will be on 15 June 2012 at SIS.


Shinee, B1A4, Jay Park, Teen Top will be performing.


tickets are really pricey!
but for these artistes absolute fans, it shouldn't be a problem i guess.




oh and yesterday night was the Star Awards televised on chl 8.
Jay Park was a guest performer.
at his last song he went down to the audience and walked towards Jeanette Aw.
looked like he was serenading to her...


lol..


Pre-show i think their outfits are nicer than the ones they wore when they had to go up to receive the award.


didn't know xiao gui was also there! and the taiwanese twin bros too.




there's a new 9pm drama starting tomorrow.
feel like watching... they said its something like My Girlfriend is a Gumiho...
