01 December 2014

december already

it's been a few weeks since i last posted here

have been busy and trying to catch up with anime to make it in time for AFA

today is already the 1st of December the last month of the year.

time really flies...

finished reading Tokyo Ghoul manga and currently watching a few animes

but am just contented with mushishi

mushishi
not sure why people create the term anime husband

is it to counter the "waifu" term used for male otakus?

just saying, my new fave character is Ginko

he's just lovely

ah, and i watched a few episodes of Parasyte

damn freaking scary compared to Teraformars

the op song by Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas suits the show theme but then the use of Daichi's ballad is kind of strange...

but it sounds nice

planning to buy quite a number of merchandise this year at AFA

feel like getting a few art books just because they are prints and i was  thinking of collecting more prints instead of keychains or badges

well, won't rule out the usual ones...

must support talent!!

good thing some of the artists put their art on tumblr, it would be easier to find their booth there.

just putting this to show appreciation for Kisa and his makeup talent plus because it's Tokyo Ghoul

makeup level 9999

crazy as usual but awesome result

^v^

29 March 2014

again

Imagination - SPYAIR

what is Ike wearing?!

it's the OP theme for the new season anime Haikyu

NICO touches the walls is doing the ED theme!!!

^o^

Kimi ga inai, Ano hi kara - Acid Black Cherry

been awhile since i heard some soulful rock ballad...

the way he can change to falsetto so cool

At First - JJCC (Double JC)

they are the idol team formed by Jackie Chan

the song is not bad...

borka - cinemastaff

his voice is lovely as always

lately i have been watching lots of toy blind bag videos

dollastic

chad alan

rjh audrey

disney collector BR

i wish toys r us or other toy shops would sell more blind bags and stuff like kinder surprise

these videos make me want to buy so many of these things that take up space...

Youtubers - Music (Western)

its the last of the youtubers series...

one of the popular youtubers cover dances...

kimonotime aka kelsey covers mostly j-pop dances...
she's so energetic and lively in her videos...

makes my mood happier...

if you are into k-pop, simon and martina is also a good source of all things Korean!

the couple and their pets moved to Korea awhile ago.

their videos range from music video reviews to artistes interviews...

and they recently opened their packages from fans and one was from Singapore.

lol.. the stuff the fan gave them, alot of snacks.

its abit weird seeing the snacks you know....

ok, zaners also does k-pop music video reactions...
he likes Shinee alot but basically if you are a k-pop fan you will know every k-pop group and some of the members names even if you are not in the fangroup.

it's like k-pop logic.

brainwashing!~

Hilly and Hannah are twin sisters who are talented in directing their own skits and acting.
they combine skits of different movies with dancing to songs in their videos.

i think their most popular videos is the Twilight parody series and the HP ones.

ok, not sure what else to add in.

Last week of March starts today and new things await in April.

will definitely be online less starting April.

hope all goes well!

Youtube stars - Music (Asian)

i really have quite little youtube ppl that i watch.

i'm thinking of music that includes singing and dance.
since both needs music...

Minhua covers mostly alot of k-pop stars
his korean pronounciation is really good.

practice...

the twins Colin and Nicholas

they cover alot of k-pop dances
quite a number of girl group too.

only if you don't mind watching guys dancing to girls dance which sometimes look quite funny...

let me just give an example:

this group of guys dancing to perfume's Nee

and when they do it in prublic...

salute them for their guts

the girl fans are even more dedicated

they even look like the real group.

if there is one thing the japanese is good, its that they have the dedication and put in their time and effort to do things.

if i don't put sungha here, it will not be complete eh?

i've seen for myself, this guy is talented!
he makes the guitar so much more than a just a guitar....

and talking about dance covers, in hifumim channel,
its a Japanese mother who uploads videos of her daughter dancing and singing to songs..

lately she does alot of Kyary covers... and the costumes are made by the mother which i think is quite cool...

the girl is so full of energy... really cute!

that is why Japan is the mother of cosplay.

am i sounding clique in here? sorry i guess its just me...

and for my previous emo post, i will try to be more positive here and out.

and i just remember this, i think it was quite crazy on yt a few years ago.

Japanese businessmen in suits running in slow motion...

they are actually a dance group called WORLD ORDER

if i can describe it is just awesome, if you've not heard of them then just search yt...

and the fact they do their dances in public.. its really funny to see other people's reaction

Youtubers - Food (Western edition)

i don't really know many western ones compared to Japan...

but when i do watch, its usually snacks.

yoyomax12 is one of them that i watch.

so many sweet treats...

especially those rainbow theme ones~

emmy is also one of the users that i watch. but she does more food reviews than cooking videos.

it started with her reviews on the Japanese snacks which later on grew to reviews of different snacks sent to her by fans from different countries.

hmm...

i think that's really all i can think of now...

:P

maybe the music edition will be more...

for now, life's been good... but i know i have to face the truth by the end of this week.

can't stay at one place forever!

and just recently having thoughts that i might be aging faster than i thought.

not unusual for me to say this, since everyone else will say it.

but i'm thinking that i really am sick inside.

been losing hair faster - probably a good reason that i have my hair cropped

stamina been bad - from the cycling every weekend... cycling should be an easy thing and it's so ironic that i find it hard to keep up with my parents who are like more than twice my age.

please, did i say cycling? yes.

and the visit to the dentist...

i guess why i'm in this state now is because i don't take care of myself from the start and the shit start to build up... so i'm where i am now...

i really want to change...

Youtubers - food (Asian edition)

or should i just say Japanese. since like all are from Japan..

OxO

alright, here it goes!

(i think it's pretty easy if you know your Japanese)

first would be Francis!

he is the poodle in the videos and his owner is the lady who cooks the dishes!

he recites the instructions in english as well which is impressive.

if you watch cwd then runny should be no stranger!

he's a really funny guy and his recipes are mostly quite easy to follow.

as he said he's not a professional but he just love to cook!

and he loves Diam! the chocolate.

haha...

another youtuber that i watch is ochikeron !

i especially like the ONE PIECE bento she made.. she cut out the picture of Luffy and Chopper on a nori (seaweed) sheet...

i can never bear to eat the food that are made so painstakingly by hand...

really so much time and patience to do it!!~

impressive!!!

alright, the above mentioned are for food now for snacks...

mosogourmet and rrcherrypie are the most famous..

and one thing about their videos are that there are no talking except sounds of plastic and table sounds.

lol...

and there are comments by people who find these tyoe of sounds "soothing"

-_-"'

so weird......

--=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

alright, just to add!

Kyary will be having her first live here on 10.05.2013 at *SCAPE at 7PM.

and she just released her new single Ninjari Bang Bang

which is catchy like usual but the video is not that interesting.

more focus on the CGI.

tomorrow will be SCANDAL's fan meet and autograph session at bugis+

and SID changed their picture on their site and updated their single cover

new picture!
i think shinji and yuya look good but i don't really like Mao's pants.

his smoky eye makeup looked good though!

can't wait to hear their new song!

YOUTUBERS - Comedy (Western edition)

ok, i'm back.

this post will be what the title says.

so, the first is... Pj

yes, if you know the fantastic four on the internet then i guess i don't have to put in the rest..

if you don't know, then in summary:

Fantastic Four are Dan, Phil, Chris and Pj

each of them have their own type of humor...

i watch most of Chris videos though...

next is TheFineBros

the videos are not really classified as humor but more to reaction videos.

its quite subjective based on the type of video the kids, teens or old folks watch.

but yeah, have an open mind and just remember its opinions of others so don't be too sensitive if your views dont match.

some other people are Shane Dawson and Tyler Oakley..

they talk really sassy...

ah, that's about it then... there are many more out there but the ones i mentioned with links are some that i watch more often.
ok, bye!

next time it will be Youtubers - Food (Asian)!!

YOUTUBERS (Asian Edition) - COMEDY

hey!

so i decided that I will start my FAVE YOUTUBERS post today!

why Asian first? Because i am Asian?

no im just joking but really there is no ranking whatsoever in the sequence in which the youtubers are placed.

so i'll try to be organised here, today i will start with youtubers in the comedy genre and then maybe the food genre and then the music genre.

alrighty, here we go!

first up is chonny

think i mentioned him a few times before and he's funny crazy.

his parodies of k-pop mvs are hilarious too.

chonny is Chinese-Vietnamese in Australia, i think.

next is nigahiga

i always remember the teehee part at the end of his videos.

and he talks sooo fast... but not in an annoying way though.

read some comments that he is Japanese too but in USA now.

so if you know nigahiga you cannot not know who is kevjumba

they are in all seriousness, serious when making their videos.

which is good for their fans and everyone else.

and being able to see USA in the eyes of an Asian that's something new too.

kevin is Chinese and his dad appears in some of his older videos.

chonny's dad also appears in some of his videos too.

and now its PDR !
yes, how can i not remember to add in him and his brother PDS

it's like if i missed out on these 2 its like missing the whole point of Asian youtubers.

well, that's in my opinion..

i think you don't really need a translator to know what the videos are about.

in short, if you want to watch really weird random videos then PDS is for you.

and if you perhaps want abit of english go watch PDR videos.

Duncan aka PDR is the older brother of Dante aka PDS.

they are english-Japanese mixed and therefore i guess many fans like them ?!

i think i watch because of the random crazy stuff they come up with...

like the giant pudding they did or the banana eating challenge.

ok before i go and i could only think of them.. Munah and Hirzi

this may be more close to the heart for Singaporeans.specifically malay?!

but hey, i'm not racist and neither are they or in general not all because there is something called racial harmony here in our island...

so they are actually yt sensations in singapore because they had their own show on Suria and appeared in the papers and magazines.

their parodies and videos like 10 Dares or Epic Minahs garner alot of views.

minahs are ah-lians malay version...

i will share my fave youtuber comedy English edition or Western edition next time.

will be heading out for an interview today afternoon!

jia you!!!
