the past week - a recap

hello!

so here i am back again to update on the past week!

Hectic but good week too, from today starting it's less than a week before school starts again.

so i had my full shift on Sunday but i'm so glad i am still alive

:)

because before that i had to cover for absence of others.

tiring but this can also be part of training and experience...

then the most surprising and rewarding part!

to find out that my friend won a pair of free tickets to KPP Nanda Tour.

YES, F-R-E-E! *not a scam!

i could say  "my spirits were lifted" when i saw her message

apparently on that day i was "famous" because alot of calls and messages were on my phone..

:)

so of course i wanted to go!!!

First being, it was free.

Second, I do listen to KPP - if only just when i want something happy sounding (POP music) because one can become pretty moody with too much rock music

Third, and luckily i was free on Saturday - despite the fact i had work the next day. think about that later was the though i had. Free concerts don't come so easily and often.. Just go!!

Fourth, i was wishing to go for another concert this year. even thought if it was KPP, i wouldn't mind.

Fifth, let's just get on with the details

so we met up early for lunch before planning on going there about 2hrs early to collect the tickets beforethe show, the doors open at 7pm only

had lunch at sushi express!!!~

yeah!

pretty good stuff there and the desserts were nice too!!

after many cups of hot green tea, i wanted to go find Toys R Us

and being unfamiliar with Suntec City... we got lost there..

i wonder why, despite going there annually for AFA, i still am not familiar with it

>.> don't think the renovation has any thing to do with the locations of the buildings.. but...

i'll try my best to remember this coming Dec!!~

well, we came across this shop selling stationery and all sorts of character goods Rilakkuma, Hello Kitty, Snoopy.. etc...

then i bought the stuffed keychain of Barii-san from the Ehime Prefecture..

the shop also sells Kumamon stuff but when i managed to find Barii and many other mascots i couldn't help it

the real Barii-san mascot is so huge and round and its so funny to watch it

it makes the squeaky noise when you squish the body of Barii

as you can tell it is my new favourite thing

ok, then about the concert
the concert was at The Star Vista (Buona Vista MRT)

we saw some fans dressed up as Kyary too.. onegirl was cosplaying as Kyary in her Furisodesho mv

Overall, it was a very upbeat and fun atmosphere during the concert.

except for some people who were sitting during the live, i enjoyed myself!

she ended the concert at 8.40pm but came back for an encore and performed Candy Candy and there's a cute song "See You Again"

i like the dancers, they were so full of energy

they did cartwheels and all those fast dance moves..

some almost fell... but they recovered well

so i managed to come back at a "not too late" time and survived to walk up the next day for F shift
i also got a visit from my poly friends during my F shift so it made me happy too!

yeah~

and i'm going out for dinner another few days to come!!~

so it seems June was pretty awesome after all!!!~

but the end of June also brings many changes, there won't be the PT around and so just FT mostly who are new

but most of them have Masters to get that job title.

this month end some more colleagues will be leaving .

manpower needs to boosting but more important working relations should be strengthened as well!

the start of July brings an end to a few dramas.

i only just finished watching the last eps of Legal High and Kagi no Kakatta Heya.

i also watched ep 1 of GTO remake 2012 in the night.

since i didn't watch the original version, but i heard it was a good drama...
i decided to watch the remake.
AKIRA is acting at Onizuka... last time he acted as a sensei as well in Tumbling.
Yamamoto Yusuke and Shirota Yuu are also inside.

my fave characters in ep 1

the girls are bullies!
they bullied Noboru.. (guy in the bottom left of the picture)
but the leader of the group also was picked on by gangsters..
Noboru still so nice to forgive her...

Shirota Yu look so different compared to when he was in Samurai High School.
he's so serious in GTO... and Yusuke's hair is so curly.. abit old-fashioned.. haha..
AKIRA looks better here... he's really cute when he smiles...

and amazingly i watched the whole show in Raw...
but i can understand!!

lol...
coz i was lazy to wait for the subs...

i also watched Kagi no Kakatta Heya a few days later...

funny parts...

yeah! Tamaki is in the last 2 eps...
haven't seen his acting since Nodame Cantabile
sometimes i get confused with him and Odagiri Joe
both of them look good in long hair... but i think Tamaki should stick with short hair...

and then i went back to anime... (weekend)

his voice is quite versatile... i must say...

only ep 1 has been out for Natsuyuki...
think the story is going to be quite interesting~

haha... Dante always talks in the weird way...
and only Switch can help to decipher what he said...
the chocolate part was funny as well...

this ep was funny too~

the food vanishes every time she puts it near her mouth...
but she can't eat eggs...
they managed to clear the challenge though...

my fave ep in the eps that i watched...

the gashapon ep! the boy was so cute when he found the spy spider that they wanted.
the clam chowder toy is so cute too...
but after all that, they wonder why they spent so much money on all the toys.
i feel the same too sometimes!

they revealed more about Himeko's past...
the time before she transferred schools and way way.. before SKET DANCE was formed
Switch looks so ikemen... before what happened and he had to change everything...

a couple of days ago i was bored so i decided to play dress up...

i think this style is hard to imitate...
my hair too flat and forehead not high enough...
i did the braid myself, its supposed to be a friendship band but decided to use it in this way..

i look like some aunty...

that's why i don't usually dress up for outing...

Visual Kei and Make up

Finally i'm on the topic of Visual Kei!

not to be mixed up, both topics are separate.

actually when others first say Make-up, Japan and band together.
the first thing i think will be Visual Kei.

it has something about the hair, sometimes it can be like Anime because of the style(spikes), colour.
and the make-up, heavy eyeliner, eyeshadow and not forgetting the lenses.

yes, guys also use make-up. its not surprising anymore, but the first time i saw guys wearing make-up was in Visual Kei. so yeah, it has a pretty long history.



so back to Visual Kei...

i started watching Daizy Stipper mvs.

only a couple, i made a video of it. lol...

its been awhile and i've been thinking they decided to accumulate the singles so that they can churn out another album... not that its a bad thing.

the past singles, Itsuka, Fuyuu no Bench, Nokoriga, S will be in it...
leaving us with 7 new songs..

wow.. i wonder how many Yuya will write again!

haha...

i'm also glad that presentation is over but i have to study for next week's tests...

its not going to be easy for me.

but i will do my best and trust God.

3 weeks already since i started a new term.

gotten quite used to the schedule, its not that packed.

school aside, some news that i read online..


there's going to be a Korean version of Hana Kimi.. wow.. they do take awhile to decide which show to re-make huh? well for the record, Taiwan came out with it first before the Japanese one. and just last year, Japan did another re-make of it.
they also released news that Shinee's Minho and Miss A's Suzy will be cast.
so i guess it would be abit better than Hana Yori Dango considering the age of the actors/singers..


 i will be anticipating it too... i expect fan wars will start once the Korean version airs on tv... but until then, let's show some love to it!


and also this is late but SID has released their 2 singles Nokoriga and S.
it's been doing quite well on the Oricon Charts..
can they just go on world tour now???


its like they have been touring inside Japan for too long and fans overseas (talking about myself and other like-minded ppl) are tired of having to just watch them on their com screens or tv whichever..

have i posted this before? :O

and i started watching abit of jdramas, Mirai Nikki, Kagi Heya..
want to watch Mireneko but no enough time and hard to keep track of so many shows...
