09 September 2016

quick

short update.

Almost a week has passed in September. I think it will fly too, though not as fast as how August passed for me.

things have been a little on a rut with the job due to personal struggle.
pep talk only does so much, action needs to be more obvious.

not sure how long i can be expected until i get dropped.

seriously need to get a grip, onwards and upwards.
stagnant water no more!

hasn't been anything i can update more without delving into personal issues.

need to work out the mess in my head and make sure it doesn't come out of my mouth too harm myself.

Hogwarts
watched the Sorcerer's Stone and half of Chamber of Secrets yesterday,
Busy saving screenshots.

nothing much happening outside of work too.

second half of the year is busy at work but probably nothing much for me.

next week will probably be more exciting, maybe since i will be meeting others again after a long time.

hmm, finally decided to try spotify.
listening to Pay money to my Pain 'Remember the name' album now.

songs i like from the album currently are 'Weight of my Pride' and 'Drive'

honestly the last time i went on the net to search was on last.fm maybe like 5 years ago or so.
not my fave way of search but probably better to widen the scope of the genre.

love this cover

on the topic, Busted will be releasing their new album on 11.11.16

i feel like getting it, physical form if possible.

it's just that i know it's so easy to get it on the net now but having the actual cd it's just more ... justifiable that you see the hard work of the band in your own hands.

(not sure how to even express it in words)

STGCC this weekend so probably will have a review of it next week.

been 3 years since the last time i went to STGCC so let's see how it goes

26 February 2013

life is a rollercoaster

plenty - player

a new single for this year! it's titled Player
sounds quite emo despite his voice being so gentle.

ONE OK ROCK - Clock Strikes

a song from their new album, Jinsei kakete boku wa.
it's Clock Strikes
it's a good song without a doubt and lots of fans raving about it in the comments @jpopasia.
i think i need to listen more and it may grow on me.

some of the pv links at jpopasia go to youku and i can't watch it.

Perfect Blue by Base Ball Bear is one of it...

i also watched a video by Soundwitch and the song is FRUSTRATE ME
you can immediately guess the song will be loud and emo.

i don't really listen to rock bands with female vocalists but they sound ok to me.

here is Home by Pay money to my pain
R.I.P K. the songs are always so emotional.

this is Ambivalent by AIR SWELL
i learnt a new word today!
Ambivalent (Adjective)
Having mixed feelings or contradictory ideas about something or someone.

SAY MY NAME. with their song, Youth
just like their song, its youthful.

last one for this post!
Siren by THE DILEMMA OF HEDGEHOG
the name is weird. and its surprising to hear the vocal has a good vibrato.
not as strong as some v.k vocals but still it suits the song fine.
the woman appears like a ghost.
