~START WALKING THE WORLD TOUR~

thanks for the wait. (if there are ppl waiting for this post anyway.)

so, as i said before i will do a summary/thoughts about OOR concert on 30/6.

let's get started!!!

first notice i had when i reached *SCAPE was that there was A LOT of people.
like seriously, the queue was mad...

not to mention my friend and i made an epic mistake.
lol... we went to the VIP queue which was at the back of *SCAPE near the playpark...

the GA queue had been shifted outside next to the AFA shop...
we were so blur... ε=ε=ε=ε=ε=┌(; ・_・)┘

luckily when we reached the GA queue we weren't so far behind..
many other fans were behind us later...

ticket and me.

we went into the warehouse at 6.40pm and the show started on time at 7pm.
everyone immediately went into frenzy the moment the lights all switch off.

another note was that not only was there alot of people, but there was alot of Japanese folks too.
and there was quite a number of Malays. i guess its because its ROCK that's why they also came to rock out man!!

really, i'm not being sarcastic or anything like that, but i kinda envy the Malay community in SG...
did you know for their music shows (on Suria) most of the time is rock bands from Indonesia or Malaysia?
yes, i like the band Peterpan.... their music is cool 'kay?
i  know, i listen to alot of music... am i the only one who is like that?

ok, sorry for deviating away from the topic... yes, back to ONE OK ROCK!

i must apologise first that i'm not altogether familiar with their songs, only a couple of them are my favourites.
and i was so happy when they performed:
Liar
The Answer is Near
Wherever You Are
Re:make
Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer

ok. so i wanted to talk about the people around me...
a bunch of guys who were like super high from start to end of the concert.
particular this one guy who was shaking and jumping crazily... which freaked me out abit.
・∀・ ;) あ

i managed to sneak a photo of Ryota, Taka, Toru. Tomoya is hidden behind the drums..
and i was too far so i can't see him!
under the bright lights
Ryota. Taka. Toru

after the first couple of songs Taka spoke to the audience in Engrish...
he was so cute... (●´∀`)ノ♡
after that the members all took turns to speak..
Tomoya said in Mandarin: Jin tian bu hui jia~
and Toru was like... "I'm sad because I could see the merlion..."

i guess SG only famous landmark is the merlion...
last time, AKB also went to see the merlion, and SMAP too.

i only started to warm up and enjoy myself when they performed The Answer is Near.
Taka got everyone singing the ♪。゜+.才才才才才才才才才才。゜+.♪
it was the best part!! \(≧▽≦)/〜♪
it is the best song for a live!! get's the spirit up!

and i was singing along when they did Wherever you are...
Taka didn't sound sick even though the newspaper report mentioned he was unwell.

Taka was saying: "This song... is very sweet song. yeah?"
yes, that's what i said... i love ballad songs from rock bands.
they are always so full of emotion.

and one part before they were still talking...
Taka said: "Shashin totte iindesuka?"
and their staff helped to take a picture of them with the audience.

sadly, i can't be seen.. lol...
his mic cord is so striking...
it's like his signature.... the red cord mic represents Taka..

also before they performed C.h.a.o.s.m.y.th... Taka asked an audience member to help translate what he said (because he spoke in Jap)
Basically he said this next song we are going to do was written for a friend. And even though this is our first time in Singapore, we were all friends. And we want to dedicate this song to you, friends.

so... can i be a translator now? haha...
no lah, what Taka said is really simple Jap... if its like subbing a drama, i think i still need to work on my Jap listening and writing skills.

Taka also promised us that he will work hard to study English so that he can converse with us the next time OOR comes back for another gig.

they performed 2 songs at the encore before closing the show at 8.45pm
which was really early for a band...

so  here's another lousy picture of the stage...
the Rock spirit is still there...

many fans actually waited around to see the band leaving. they are so lucky...
too bad, my friend and i didn't stay longer...
we were pretty tired.. so we had some Artease and went to HMV before going back.
i tried Apple Rose Tea... it was nice~

that's all for my re-cap on the concert...
i enjoyed myself and i think others did too.
i hope J-Live Asia will be able to bring in more acts in the end of the year too!
And even more the coming years...
