the last time i watched Shibasaki's acting was in Good Luck, where she acted opposite Takuya Kimura.
i gotta say that the show is quite good.
大奥.
there wasn't much climax in the film only the last 30 minutes.
i'm glad there was a happy ending for this show. :D
not sure what other show to look forward to this year.
i heard that Paradise Kiss is coming out soon.
YUI also released her single Hello ~ Paradise Kiss ~ last week.
i watched the pv and thought it was a change from the usual songs she did previously.
it's a little more girly and fun.

the main leads in Paradise Kiss are Mukai Osamu and Kitagawa Keiko.
Mukai Osamu acted in Hotaru no Hikari 2, which i saw...
Kitagawa Keiko in Buzzer Beat opposite Yamapi, which i watched 1/2 way...
i had no idea Mukai is 1 year older than Nino!!

he acted in quite a number of dramas before but i just didn't register him much.
:P i think his roles were a little minor that's why.
but after awhile i could remember his face.
at least he got recognition that's why he could land the male lead role in Paradise Kiss.

oh yeah, and another actor that should get more recognition is Kaname Jun!!
i thought he was like all those other calefares, but NO he isn't!

he has those typical Japanese looks, i think.
sometimes he has the F4 look and at other times he reminds me of Shinji.
he is the same age as Aki..

Nino - 1983 (ht: 168cm tall!)
Mukai - 1982 (ht: 182cm taller!!)
Kaname - 1981 (ht: 185cm tallest!!!)
their heights are compared to mine...
i think i shall revise my ideal guy's height.
i think 168 and above - ok!

^^ where some are lacking in stature, they make it up with raw talent.

compared to the 2 guys before, Kaname has acted in more dramas then them.
he acted he a few movies, but just as a supporting actor.
anyway, i think he has more of a drama look then the movie look. :)
so much to anticipate from them!
i do hope they will have more works in the rest of 2011~
on the last note,
there isn't much news of the boys on their official site still.
hoping they will continue with a cheerful spirit in this time...
hoping for news for a new release soon...
