it's becoming an upward trend now as more Korean music groups are breaking into the japanese market because Japan has a very strong power to attract.. like a magnet.. lol.. the very first band i heard of that broke into the japanese market and had done exceedingly well was DBSK.. and now it's Big Bang's turn to rock Japan.. although i'm not very familar with korea's music industry - because i'm stuck on Japan, i can see that it's second to Japan in the Asian continent.. that's my POV.. yeah..
i do hear korean songs if only i was introduced to them by my peers.. i sorta prefer rap/hip hop because most of the groups are singing/dancing, unlike Japan where bands are more prevalent.. they display their energy in that sense and area which is a refreshing change for me.. if you keep listening to one kind of music, won't you get bored? :D
