it's the weekend,exactly a week ago that AFA took place.
shall now do a re-cap of the concert.
First up to the stage was Sea A.
the first local/Malaysian group to debut this year in Japan.
their song Dream Shooter was the theme for AFA2011
they performed 3 songs before they ending.
next up was Ichiro Mizuki.
he's also fondly known as Aniki or big brother in Japanese.
it was his 20th Anniversary in the music biz so he was given more time to perform his many hits.
he even had 2 costume changes.

some people kind of got tired after the first costume change..
lol..
but there was some technical problems with the backing track used, he was able to overcome the problem.
Good Comeback!
he handled it calmly, and he even said:"Hero never gives up!"
and continued singing.
on a note, in his last costume, he wore a huge red scarf around his neck.

there were sounds of testing guitars, drums and then i heard the keyboard?
i knew it couldn't be FLOW.
so it had to be LiSA.

and just a slight note: number of girls to boys at the concert was like 1:10
which was just ._. slightly unbearable.
oh well, not like i bothered about it.
the thing to note here: LiSA's band with her.
the keyboardist looked just like genki (flumpool)!
ah~ i was staring at him whenever the camera zoomed in on him.
haha...
i think they are long lost twins.
too bad i didn't get a chance to snap a pic because of the AFA staff members on look out.

she was a ball of energy on stage.
at one point she couldn't sing because she was in tears. *_*
she was so touched by her fans.
the crowd started chanting her name.
then she resumed her singing and went back to happy mode.
she's quite cute la.

she even told us to save energy for the last act, FLOW.
because we all knew there was a slight delay in the beginning plus the additional time given to Aniki for his performance so she wanted us to maintain our high spirits for FLOW.

after she ended, there was another 15 min interval.
this time there was quite a number of people who left.
during the 2 short breaks, we took a chance to sit down to rest our legs.

another funny note: one of them started testing the mic.
it went something like: test... test... say he-roh...
it's supposed to be "say hello" but you know japlish, so it sounds like hair-roh
LOL...
it was pretty funny to me.

immediately they launched into their first song.
(unfortunately, because i don't watch Naruto i don't know what are the titles)
but they were awesome.
listening and watching them play just gives you an appetiser of what Japanese band concerts are like.
imagine it in full scale...

note: he got the crowds in the entire hall raving when he asked us to shout when he called "Mae!" and "Ushiro!" repeatedly.
Mae means Front and Ushiro means Back
quite fun.

and i think Koshi responded: "Minna wa sugoi desu yo!"
haha...
Keigo has such a cute smile.. i said that before...
i think they were just so happy to perform to their fans here in tiny island SG.
and to add the crowd was just absorbing everything that was given to them.

Takeshi was so funny during the member introduction.
he requested the lights on stage to be turned off for awhile and wore LED light sun-glasses.
they he motioned to the crowd to follow his actions.
lol..
something like mass dancing, but in the band way.
really fun!
i really liked the song Go!! it was the most active of all.
everyone was just jumping around especially during the chorus.

it was really late, and we were afraid we couldn't catch the last train back.
but thankfully we were able to.
we stayed up to the end of the encore and rushed for the door...

the crowd was mad.
the delay was pretty bad, at 6.40pm were we allowed to enter.
we could hear mic tests going on inside whenever the doors opened for some of the staff to enter.

well, i really enjoyed my first ever Anisong concert.
hopefully, many other great acts can come here to perform in the future years.
