after breakfast my family went to Giant at Tampines...
not a great time there since there was some stormy weather between the 'rents so yeah...
but i had fun playing dress up.
literally.
guess i didn't want to be near them.
the following pictures make my post deceiving...
like as if i'm those fashionable people who upload pictures of their outfit for the day and what not..
scroll down to head on to my main topic: Sungha Jung & Preston Reed Live! if you don't want to waste time looking at bad angle pictures...

(answer will be revealed in awhile)
after a bit of confusion of our seats the show started promptly at 3pm
the host of the show was the manager of Sprout Entertainment.
the live show was split into 45 mins for Sungha Jung then the next 45 mins for Preston Reed and a surprise ending.
no photography allowed so we just enjoyed the show.
the show lasted for a good 2 hours.
here's the set list that i jotted down mid-way of Sungha's performance...
the famous songs like movie themes or pop songs are arranged by himself.
he played 2 songs at the start but i can't remember the title.
- Mission Impossible theme
- Sorry (his own composition)
- Phantom of the Opera (he said he won't put a video of this up on yt. played only specially for this live)
- 她說 (She Says) (JJ Lin would be proud to hear his song played by Sungha! it was great!)
- Rolling in the Deep (Adele)
- Lonely (2NE1)
- Hey Sunshine (his own composition - he wrote it when he was 12)
- Farewell (his own composition)
- Lupan (i hope i got the title correct.. it's a Japanese song)
- Hotel California (Aerosmith)
after every song he would thank the audience... so polite.
after his performance, Preston Reed came on stage.
he performed tunes like Hangman, Shinkansen, Train,Overture...
he engaged with the audience more since he is more experience.
at the end, he invited Sungha back on stage to perform a duet of one of his songs.

when the show ended i went to the restroom.
and upon coming out back to the area outside the hall, there was a huge queue...
~ Sungha ~ |
and i realised: Ah! So that's why the people brought their guitars along for.
i couldn't get much pictures because there was security standing around.
they disallow photos too!?
anyway, i'm glad i bought his album Irony.
CD came with a free pick |
they were also selling the pick by itself but it cost $2.
so i got the album for $20 and save $2...
dinner time~
we headed to Maxwell Food Centre
hokkien mee |
char kway teow |
but they taste average...
i still prefer the ones at Blk 401!
after finishing we took bus home.
A Korean BBQ restaurant |
ending with a fun shot of my 母ーさん!
ばいばい! |
