here's my quick re-cap on the J-Live Asia A-Sketch Special gig that happened on 15.9!
the show started on time, given that the doors opened at 6.30pm.
we were in the warehouse at 6.45pm and waited for about 15mins before the lights blacked out.
then the screams came but it was a false alarm (just like the OOR gig)
it was just the backstage hands helping to test the instruments.
we even saw one of the guys helping to clean the keyboard.
so i guessed it was WEAVER who was going to perform first.

they were an awesome bunch!
so smiley.. esp the drummer Touru.
Shouta was also quite smiley.
the whole time i was kind of blocked by a very tall person in front so i didn't get to see much of Shouta but he moved about the whole stage so at least i could get a few glimpses.
i listened to WEAVER songs but don't really remember the titles.
only when Yuji say the titles sometimes like Hard to say I Love you which was the theme song for the drama Sunao ni Narenakute or tokidoki sekai...
the part when they talked to us was so cute too.
Yuji spoke pretty fluent English, and he asked who in the audience was here for the first time. quite a number of hands were raised. and he was like: "Woah! i see many many many many... hahaha.."
Touru also spoke a few lines of Mandarin... the crowd was like "Woah! He pronounced it pretty good! Sugoi!"
Shouta then cut in and said in English "I also know how to speak Mandarin! Wo ai ni!"
haha... Yuji was like in the middle laughing...
only after they came back during the encore did they tell us we could take photos..

yeah, the pictures are quite small and blur..
overall it was a good experience.
they performed for a good 1.5 hours. and there was a 15 min interval before flumpool came on.
i guess most of the crowd were more excited for flumpool to be on.
i shall blog again about flumpool's part the next time!
