Books I've read in 2015 (part 1)

on second thoughts, i think if i waited to the end of the year to do a collective post of books i've read i would procrastinate or forget completely about.
so i think i would just do it in parts

the books i list here are those that i bought and does not include those that i borrowed from the library.

but that also means i read a lot more!

books  (includes graphic novels as well.) don't go in any particular order!

Let's start
  1. In the Heart of the Sea by Nathaniel Philbrick
another to be made into a film title with Chris Hemsworth

really enjoyed this book a lot
with photos and sketches.

 2. A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess

i like this minimalist cover

a real classic that my friend recommended to read and i picked it up just when i heard news that the play would be showing here.

when i first read it, it was honestly hard to understand with all the slang used by the character.

but overall good book. first time i actually read the index of a book.

 3. The Marshmallow Test by Walter Mischel

self-enrichment
yet, here i have another non-fiction title which was good... the very first non-fiction book i read was Quiet by Susan Cain
learned more about how our brain works with decisions... makes me think of the song Hot and Cold by Katy Perry

4. The Tokyo Zodiac Murders by Soji Shimada

always have a tendency to read japanese literature
this one caught my eye just by the title and the plot

it was an impulse buy honestly...

read this the moment i bought it, really enjoyed it so much

5. Wayward graphic novels

Japanese folklore super power human beings inspired graphic novel series
if you didn't know i'm really into Japanese related things, this is so interesting and thought i could start my graphic novel collection with this.. the art is really pretty and full of vibrant colours

they have write ups at the end of the folklore and mythical creatures they mention in the series...

i like this series so far, guess i'll have to wait a while for the next volume

6. Steven Universe

Steven universe

enjoyed the cartoon series and again got influenced to get the graphic novel by a friend
