recap of funan anime matsuri 2016

i went to Funan Anime Matsuri last Saturday which was the last one to be held until they complete renovations which will be completed after 3 years.

There was quite a crowd when I reached there at about 12-ish

Walked around the atrium but after awhile I went up to level 5 to look at the Creators Hub.

didn't buy anything from the AFA official shop or the other booths at the Atrium because it was quite pricey

although i didn't buy as m-many things as my previous con outings (at least i consider it little)

i still really spent quite abit of money... but it was not at the Creators Hub.

walked around the first round and went to the booth where Secret-Garden was boothing

there was quite a crowd when we went there and alot of the customers were buying their badges

the badges were on sale so i shared

i think i bought a Suga badge friom them before, i wanted to get a big Suga badge which has a nice dessert design with each member but they sold out for Suga so sadly i didn't get it...

was contemplating if i should get Hanayo but decided to get Umi.

a random Totty but the rabbit suits him

personal favorite is always Perv-matsuno

found this double sided keychain from them too!

i think these were quite popular too.

also another purchase related to Osomatsu- san was this

it's a laminated keychain

i like the expression that he's always drawn. frowny eyes
hanging it on my bag to work.

since i mentioned Haikyuu it was not possible to not buy anything related.

walked around the second time and bought the medal badge and Hogwarts AU keychain

Suga is my best setter! i think Daichi really suits to be in Grffindor too

not sure if i will ever use her keychains. they are really nice.

the Suga / DaiSuga shrine is growing steadily.

i wonder how long it will last

but i am still enjoying it so far, the fan art that people throw out every time at these conventions.

i am happy to see art and appreciate them for doing what they do even if it's actually earning some extra money.

we all need money, let's just be honest.

i managed to get some small sized prints too!

i love all of them, i'm trying to keep to just getting more postcard size prints or A4 size. will cut down on the A3 unless i really really really like the character or the art is really damn good imo at that moment when i see it

it's also printed on glossy photo paper which is so damn pretty for the illustrations of the top two.

so happy i managed to find the booth.

Pokemon & Neko Atsume crossover print
Totoro pattern and Soot Sprite print

these are separate prints and the Pokemon one was from another booth as the other Ghibli ones.
the Pokemon print is using a matte shiny card stock which is so cool

i only realised it was a cross of Neko Atsume when i looked carefully and was pleasantly surprised!

the Darumaka cat bed is my favourite focal point.
haha... i think it's so cute

i also got this set of Sumiko stickers

she also does other cute western movies/tv shows fan art like Marvel Avengers and Hannibal for example

just thought it was cute so i decided to get it another impulse purchase.

now to the real reason why i spent money more money than i thought i did...

went into Ani-nation to check out what else was there

just when i was about to leave i was looking at the trading cards at the back of the cashier counter.

i then realised they had these...

Love Live bushiroad card/ sleeve pack series 1 and 2

so i went and bought 5 packs of each series, which made my wallet cry even harder after that
