when i have absolutely nothing to do, i will just contemplate. contemplating is one of my pastimes. sometimes i go so deep in thought until i fall asleep. :) haha.. that's not good isn't it? today is one of those days where i contemplate. How do you discriminate facts and opinions? Can you tell a truth from a lie? sometimes, i can think of the answers to my own questions. but for questions like these, i can't. one of my favourite books to find answers to these questions are the book of Proverbs. (i'm not saying the book from the Bible, although i know the Proverbs do give answers.) it's a book of quotes and proverbs. 100% man-made.
my point here is that, whenever i feel i do not understand his Word i prefer to read quotes by famous people. i read those that makes the most sense and that i can relate most too. some quotes are just useless. somebody i know once said this: "Think before you say something. Think before you do anything. If you do not think beforehand, you will regret it." well said. very well said.
i don't remember how long i'm in a contemplative mood. i guess it's only for a short while and soon i'm back to my old self. my mind is a wanderer. that was what that somebody whom i know told me. i can't say if that's totally true, but i guess it is to some extent. :) well, i'm just me. take it or leave it.
