i'm back again to close up my review...
just took a break earlier coz staring at the com made my eyes tired...
ok... on with the cosplay competition.
there were 8 paticipants and 6 judges.
8: 2 frm Phillipines, 2 Malaysians, 1 Indonesian and 3 Singaporeans
(i might be wrong here.. can't remember)
6: 2 Japan, 1 America, 1 Phillipines, 2 Singapore
first was Kairei whose character was Babydoll from Sucker Punch

as you can see about half of them are mecha- kind of characters
and the costumes are so elaborate makes the judges have a hard time deciding.
The outcome was quite surprsing.
i didn't expect the final 2 to be locals.

oh well, i could guess so, since maybe this is STGCC... Western...
hmm... and first time i realised the characters are from online games and movies...
unlike AFA, the characters are completely from animes and their game counterparts...
kipi and jacky dosai gave away special prizes to their favourite cosplay
kipi gave her special kipi prize to Nikki..
it was a Haruhi Suzumiya costume...
if you don't know what anime is that...

they got toys, collectibles, swords, posters, shirts... etc.

i saw guys wearing it too and thought they were cute! :D
so i got urge to buy...
cost me... $15
quite ex, but the quality is pretty good! they sewn the ears to the headband so it doesn't come off easily
i like the bell at the sides...
the tinkling sound...~ ting~ ting~
haha...
some people find it childish...
lol... but its still cute...
i bought it before we went to see the cosplay... i was wearing it during the whole time we were at Suntec.. :)

i was still wearing my headband...
lol... many eyes were staring at my head.. >.<
haha... :D
but i didn't feel out of place then coz we were still in the mood ... some others were wearing it too...
i think, i saw my junior there at the event and when we were at Pizza Hut waiting for a table i thought i saw eyecandy there...
dunno for sure if i did but.. yeah... quite happy on Sunday!! :D
